Topic: VC-1 movie problem

i played vc1 coded movies with potplayer and turned svp on,frame rate won't go 60fps(in fact ,it stayed on 48fps) unless i set svp "frame rate changed" at 3x(72fps) or above.Same problem won't happen if i play avc/H264/X264 coded movies

Can you show details: menu - show - additional information?
How did you know about 48fps? From Performance graphs window?

Re: VC-1 movie problem

from fraps 3.2.6,and 48fps@60hz isn't smooth as 60fps.
the attachment is screen shot from potplayer playing vc1 coded video

the video i tested is here:

just download the "112" file

Re: VC-1 movie problem

whindson
Thank you. I see it is DS-filter trouble. hmm

SVP said "Resulting video frame rate: 59.94 fps" but Renderer got only 48 frames each second.
It is well known trouble of filters interaction. I say about Splitter, Decoder and Renderer. Try to change each of them.

I will download your file and will try to find good filters for this VC-1 video too.

Re: VC-1 movie problem

thanks MAG79
it is the filter problem,i used LAV FILTER FOR ts files, which caused the 48fps vc1 coded problem.
now i changed to potplayer internal filter, and now it is 60fps!!!
