Mhh yeah I admit that could be the issue that 24fps have been boosted to 30fps. However its with every 29,97fps video I encounter. No matter from where. Youtube for example. 29,97fps stuff is always stuttering whereas 23,976 always runs perfectly smooth.
I got a question: 23,976fps movies work perfectly with 120fps interpolation. Perfectly smooth. Now with 29,97fps videos NO MATTER what I choose, 60-90-120fps, there is always a stutter. In between the stutter it is smooth but it "freezes" every 1-2 seconds or sth.! Why is that? Isnt there a way to make that smooth as well if 23,976fps material works perfectly?
One way is to convert the 29,97fps to 23,976fps which then makes the movie perfectly smooth. Probably only means a stutter every minute or sth. better than the nonstop stutter at 29,97fps though.

Is there a way to load multiple MPC-QT instances? Regardless of SVP cant even run 2 instances, why? MPV lets me at least run 2 instances even though only 1 works with SVP active then.
With mpv I use the zoomfunction added in the mpv.conf: "Alt+# add video-zoom -0.25"
Is there a way to do that with MPC-QT as well? As it is not using a conf file.....But there is a keys.json
And I can confirm the 9 version works, 10 and 11 dont

I have the mpv.conf, the input.conf and nircmdc in the mpv folder. I also created a scripts folder and put easycrop in. I added that line you posted in mpv.conf and deleted the mpv.conf in the mpv64 folder. Still nothing happens the easycrop.lua doesnt load apparently.
Addind a command in the input.conf I created works fine for example.
I have to admit it seems partly true. There are 4k HDR mkvs that dont work via mpc or mpv. SVP doesnt react. Other files work. Its a bit strange. Anyway, is anyone working on HDR files support?
unfortunately it's not possible now to watch HDR with SVP
Are you working on a madVR HDR smooth version? I mean if you need the money just charge us with a few dollars for an HDR upgrade What do you say

Well as far as I know there has been a mpv update and maybe some SVP changes?! That also resetted my changes that I made with the different paths and so on. Now it doesnt work anymore. 1 mpv instance works and when I start a second instance (with a second exe as mentioned in previous posts) it doesnt recognize the second instance anymore.
Just to clarify I am not talking about an update yesterday or sth. it stopped working for 2 weeks or sth.!
Edit: Thinking about it now the mpv.exe mustve been updated therefore I gotta copy that one in the 3 folders again and rename it. That I didnt do yet. Still after an mpv update its not working
So the problem is the ffdshow filter. SVP needs it. With the ffdshow HDR doesnt work Is there a future update planned for maybe MPC MPV HDR SVP options?
And the multiple mpv smooth playback option doesnt work anymore after the updates apparently?! Is there maybe a chance for a future multiple instances of mpv implementation?
Let me put it this way: mpv is for the artists the professionals. I am now running crop.lua via command line before startup and it works more or less. Thats the best I can do atm.
Thx for the answer. There is only one mpv folder in appdata/roaming and its empty. I want to use this script for mpv:

Now where can I put it in order for it to work? If I copy it in appdata/roaming/mpv it doesnt work. If I create a "script" folder there and put it in there it also doesnt work.
One uqestion for MPV: where is the ".config" folder located? Cant find it in username, or username/appdata...... anywhere nor in the SVP4 folder.

I copied the folder 2 times so I had mpv64,mpv642,mpv643 folders. I added the 2 new folders to the "Path" directory and changed the exes to mpv2.exe and mpv3.exe
I also added mpvpipe2, mpvpipe3 in the conf files and in SVP. And I added the paths in SVP to the mpv2.exe and mpv3.exe
And I think the multiple value needed to be changed. Its at 8 now. With 0 or 2 it didnt really work properly?!
Anyway it works now SVP Pro is a goddamn nice tool god bless you all And the MPV is usually smoother and better to handle than MPC-HC so its nice that works now with multiple instances.
So with a bit of work its possible or is that a very theoretical idea from you? ^^
Yeah I checked use it in all opened videos. And it works with MPC-HC. Not with MPV....
Is there a way to use 2 or more MPV instances with SVP? When I start a second MPV video SVP is not activated.

The Staxrip was throwing error's at me every turn. "Failed to open source, try another source filter?" - "Cannot load a 32bit DLL in 64bit Avisynth." However I have 64bit Avisynth, because I've been using MPC-HC 64 bit and aswell as 32bit version of MPC-HC and everything has worked fine.
So there's some more to do I guess, I'll be looking around for solution, help is always appreciated!
I also installed SVP Pro and let it install the MPC 64 bit version. When running MPC it says in yellow: "Cannot load a 32bit DLL in 64bit Avisynth." What can I do here so MPC works?
Edit: Ok just deleted the Avisynth folder shit and it works now!
So there is no way to play HDR content (for HDR displays ofc) with SVP enabled and working? If not when can we expect that if ever?
Well cant get the QT version to work. But a fresh installation of the free version plus MPC and MadVR now works With 60fps. Is there a way to change the fps to sth. above 60? Or is that only possible in the pro version?
Is this QT better than MPC with MadVR?
I tried many files with 25fps and 30 and 50 and 60 but SVP doesnt change anything.
So its best to install MPC with MadVR and then just use SVP? I'll test that soon, thx.
