Why is it that you only use madvr for anything less than 1080p? Even at 1080p I notice that the videos I've watched are cleaner and a lot sharper than with evr. Another thing, how do I get youtube to work with mpc? Been trying to google it but haven't exactly found a comprehensive guide yet.
Thats 1080p Bluray source + potplayer + EVR CP video renderer + custom settings to enhanced image quality + guide.
To save performance for my svp settings, using madvr + image doubling + svp combo is very demanding for gpus ( more if abused high settings are in use to increase quality ). Long ago i did a comparison of the same high quality material with madvr and without it and what only changed was the image was more " sharpen " with it than without it if the player was running at default settings. I see better results with stuffs with lower quality, you can easily spot the differences.
For the moment i dont sorry, i just used MPC-HC with default settings, just added " ffdShow raw video filter " in custom filters to be able to use SVP. But still sometimes i had the same problems with some youtube links as it was with potplayer.
edit2: This is 1080p Bluray source + potplayer + madvr with guide settings ( no image doubling )
Not much differences as you can see, only is i have more performance with EVR CP than madVR and for such close quality in " this case ", its a waste to put more heat on my cpus and gpus.
