i'd like to add that after a couple of videos while smooth motion was on the video hung on the first frame and I had to alt+tab out then alt-tab in.  As part of my troubleshooting I disabled Smooth Motion expecting the macrostutter issue to return, but the macrostutter issue was gone!  (Woot Woot!) big_smile

this is even stranger, but I am glad I can watch my videos in 100fps again smile

Computers can be weird and sometimes what is believed to be counter-productive can be a solution.

I seem to have fixed this problem and the solution was the last thing I would have thought of.

I have to now use MadVR's Smooth motion in conjunction with SVP!!!!! hmm

Until today if I had smooth motion enabled while SVP was on I got a terrible overall framerate that in some points was considerably lower than the source framerate.

Now for some freaky reason it is flawless.  The Stutter all gone.  I set Smooth Motion to "Always" in MadVR

I am puzzled beyond belief but glad my persistent troubleshooting has prevailed.

If anyone else gets this kind of stutter issue, you should suggest trying enable smooth motion (set as "Always") to see if it solves their issue too. smile

a link?

this is a blu-ray I own that I format-shifted to an external HDD as a media centre.  My PC is in my lounge room as a home theater/gaming system.

Now Dolby digital is having this stutter too.  DTS and LPCM movies still play fine.  I uninstalled again and went into the registery and removed reclock and reinstalled and I am still getting this 1-2 second stutter every 5-10 seconds.

I don't know what is going on.  I don't want to format my boot sector and clean install Windows again.  I have never encountered this issue until today and now I can't get rid of it.  The only way to stop the stutter is to play the video without SVP at all.

I will try uninstalling and reinstalling my sound card drivers and see if that helps.

EDIT: No Dice.  I also tried switching from MadVR to EVR (Custom Presenter), No Dice.  I tried switching from DTS Connect, to Dolby Digital Live, to no encoder No Dice.  I also tried switching from FFDShow Raw Video Filter to FFDShow VIdeo Decoder.  No Dice there too.  The macro stutters happen at the ecact same times and intervals too.

The stutters happen at the exact same times and intervals in Potplayer too.  on Potplayer the screen flickers black quickly during the frozen frame.

The best shot I ave at the moment is do siable SVP and enable Smooth Motion with MadVR.  I prefer the smoothness of SVP though so I am devastated. :'(

I will try downloading potplayer, but since MPC-HC doesn't cause this stutter when SVP is disabled I am sceptical potplayer will work either.

I don't know what the problem is.

I tried uninstalling all components of SVP 4 twice and every video I play with TrueHD audio freezes for 1-2 seconds every 5-10 seconds.  If I have the SVP OSD on the OSD appears after the stutter.

Uninstalling and setting up the way I normally do does not fix this.  Dolby Digital and DTS videos play fine, but I can not get TrueHD videos to work.

I have tried every thing I could think of, from playing without Reclock, to using Reclock as Dsound, Waveout and WASAPI  Setting up the FFDShow audio processor the way I always do, and changing the default audio in MPC-HC to "Default", "Speakers (Sound Blaster Zx)" "Default Waveout Device" and "Default DirectSound Device"

TrueHD movies are no longer playable.

Please assist.  I'm banging my head against the table over this.

I fixed (part of) the problem myself.

I made sure only 24bit integer was selected in FFDShow Audio Decoder, deselecting all the others. I guess it selected the first available option which was 16bit.

Then I entered Reclock config ans selected WASAPI for PCM.

I set 24bit padded to 32bit (this is the only option that works on WASAPI, otherwise I get a hardware not supported error)

Now I am outputting to 96,000Hz 6 channels 24bit PCM

The only issue I have next is how (if possible) do I get the output to be DTS/Dolby Digital/TrueHD instead of PCM?

EDIT: as I have a Sound Blaster Zx when DTS COnnect is enabled (Which it always is) is the sound being outputted to DTS on-the-fly regardless if the media player is saying PCM as the output?

My sound card is a Sound Blaster Zx which is connected to a new set of Logitech Z906 THX certified 5.1 speakers.  I have noticed reclock is gimping my output to 16bit, even with 24bit selected in reclock config.

Is there any way to override this and get 24bit 6 channel audio?

I get the 96,000Hz upsampling working on both Reclock and FFDShow Audio Decoder, but reclock insists on outputting to 16bit, when my hardware is capable of 24bit 96,000h 5.1 Surround, or 24bit 192,000hz Stereo

This 16bit output gimping happens with reclock set as Waveout, Directsound & WASAPI.

The source of my movie is 24bit 48,000Hz DTS and the output is 16bit 96,000Hz PCM

Also is there a way to get the output to be DTS instead of PCM? My Sound card supports both Dolby Digital And DTS and I have it set to DTS in the driver.

I really want to get the most out of my new (And expensive) speakers.

Please assist.  I have found no help on google.

As the title states if I have Exclusive fullscreen mode enabled with these drivers on my Gigabyte GTX970 G1 Gaming Edition, I get a full display driver crash the instant I hit a key or press a mouse button, worse yet the drivers don't recover and I get a "No Signal" message on my screen and have to hold the power button down untill the rig hard resets.

The first time this happened I thought my GPU died.

Nvidia screwed the pooch yet again with yet another set of dodgy drivers.

I thought new drivers were to better optimize, and fix bugs, rather than to bugger up the optimization and add tons more bugs.

WTF Happened at Nvidia?!!! (smh)

I don't have to time read the whole thread but just wanted to say I had frame dropping and solved it by going into Application Settings -> Additional Options -> All Settings -> Target -> Tolerance = 0.

By default it was set to 0.02 or something like that which meant the interpolated frame rate was allowed to be out of sync by 2% in relation to the refresh rate which caused a constant micro stutter.

by setting tolerance to 0 1080p videos don't seem to drop frames (apart from in the first second) like crazy at 120FPS.  However any resolution under 1080p and the frames drop like crazy.  Even without FFDshow's resize filter on.  It seems the extra processing power needed just to stretch the resolution to fill the screen causes crazy frame drops on settings above 96FPS.

EDIT: I found that although at first frames don't drop on 1080p, after a few mins of playback the frames start to drop.  First 1-2 per second and after 30+ seconds it drops 50-60 frames every second.  I wonder if it is either the CPU or GPU hitting 100% usage and the media player pooping it's pants because of no free resources left?  In order to just watch a video I had to force 96FPS in SVP4, as any higher level causes havoc of the frame dropping variety.

On occasion the video freezes for 2 seconds while the audio continues leaving the audio 2 seconds out of sync with the video, forcing me to quit and restart the media player (MPC-HC).

I wonder how much GPU load you have during playback, maybe madVR is putting too much load on it.

Can you try using a different DirectShow Video? (Not madVR for testing purposes)

Edit: Nevermind I noticed you have tried that already.

Your system is very close to mine in terms of CPU/GPU power and I have no problems with 120FPS.
For reference I'm using 6700k@4.2Ghz, 16gb ram and a R9 390. OS, is Win10 x64

Maybe the issue is either windows 7 or Nvidia drivers.

These are my guessas for the following reasons.

Windows 7 has had recent problems, from failing windows update to access violations on numerous programs (Probably deliberate from Microsoft in there aggressive push to for all PC users to use Windows 10)

Nvidia drivers are always bad.  Nvidia is great hardware but poor drivers, this has always been the case.  Rolling back drivers will likely do more harm than good and prevent newer games from running properly (or at all)

if I still get these issues after I get a gtx1080 I will have to point my finger at Windows.  I wish I could use a 6th gen i7 without windows 10, but Intel sold out to microsoft so those CPU's gimp themselves on non Windows 10 rigs :'(

Your i7-4790K has 4cores/8threads.
Auto may not be using enough threads or not correctly identifying your CPU.

8 threads * 1.8 = 14.4,
So try setting threads to 15, hopefully that will fix your issue.
120fps should work just fine, as should 12px for motion vectors with your setup.

You will likely find you can now also turn back on Decrease Grid Step without dropping frames which is a huge CPU hog, especially with global refinement.
If you do turn it back on I would just use local refinement as it uses far less resources than global which is not much of a improvement IMO.

Thanks for your reply and for wanting to assist.

I set 15 threads, turned on grid step to local refinement and set the motion vector to 12px and set the FPS to 120fps

I drop 5-6 frames every second of playback on those settings.

maybe it is an issue with Windows 7 pro (x64), some obscure system driver I am not aware of or an issue with my CPU being on it's last legs.  My GPU (Gigabyte GTX970 G1 Gaming)  is only a few months old as it is a brand new replacement from an RMA after the DVi ports and then the GPU fried on the last one in less than a year. (The original was irreparable so they shipped me a shiny new one)

I can not push beyond 96fps without a frame drop fiesta.  No matter what my settings are in SVP4, MPC-HC or MADVR/EVR(CP). sad

I hope I get some improvement in the future when I get a GTX1080.

I would like to hear from someone from the SVP development team as I believe their input could be of value.

EDIT: if I allow "DX11" or "Exclusive Fullscreen" the frame drop rate is 3-4 times as much, and I can lose well over 30 frames per second using if using "DX11" & "Exclusive Fullscreen" together on any FPS beyond "2x source" on 24fps (48FPS).

I am having huge problems again.  This morning I was getting good performance with SVP at 4x framerate.  It would drop 5 frams in the first second and no mor from then on.  I turn on my pc this evening after getting home from work, and with NO change to my system settings, MPC-HC settings or SVP 4 settings I am getting crazy frame drops on any framerate above 2x.  on 4x fromerate I am dropping 75 out of 100 frames a second, meaning all of the interpolated frames are dropping.

I don't know  what happened!  This morning it was great, and this evening it is running the worst it has ever had.  on the default settings I would probably be getting less than 24fps as all the SVP frames would drop and some of the source frames would drop too.

How does it go from great performance in the morning to woeful performance in the evening without any changes or any new software installed in the interim.

Several restarts have not solved the problem and a reinstall of the drivers did not help either

Is my new GPU dying?!

EDIT: for some unexplained reason, my Drivers changed my refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz.

is there a way to stop the refresh rate on my GTZ970 from changing itself to 60Hz on my 120Hz monitor?

I don't normally use D3D FullScreen with EVR as I can't access my GUI with D3D FullScreen enabled, and because I use playlists, it means going to windowed to change to another video in the playlist and back to fullscreen.

With my current settings I have minimized dropped frames significantly.

Usually I get 4-10 dropped in the first second of opening a video and it stays at that for the duration of the movie.

I am experimenting still to get the best setup for my rig.

I am glad I can use the MadVR image enhancement settings without problems (LumaSharpen, Enhance Detail, Sharpen Edges, Crisp edges, and thin edges).

It is best (for me) to have 4:2:0 8bit (YV12) as output in "FFDshow Raw Video Filter" to have less frames drop in the first second.

I am trying having debanding enabled in MadVR on my previous setup it was fine untill 45 mins into a movie then dropped 5 full seconds of video.  I have made more tweaks in SVP4, MadVR, FFDshow and LAV and will try to see if I get a full movie with debanding enabled without any problems.

when I get a perfect setup I will share the settings in depth with the SVP community.

I am getting a big issue on frame dropping on SVP 4 pro with MPC-HC (32bit) and Mad VR.

I have disabled fullscreen exclusive mode and enabled windowed overlay, but this is not helping.

I can't use MPC-HC (64bit) as even though I have a 64bit OS the 64bit version of MPC-HC insta-crashes 9 out of 10 times the moment I try to open a video, and the DrDump page that appears in the browser popup says the crash is a new problem the MPC-HC team have not encountered on every MPC-HC crash I get.

I am playing personal backups of my Bu-Ray and DVD libraries that are encoded without a loss of quality. (to keep my discs scratch free and allow me to change movies at a click of the mouse rather than changing discs)

eg: 30Mbps Video bitrate with 48,000Hz DTS HD-MA 5.1 audio.  (I have a soundblaster Zx and Logitech z506 5.1 surround speakers)

I have my sound settings at 5.1 96,000Hz in both Windows and the Sound Blaster Control Panel.

I also resample the audio in MPC-HC to 96,000HZ with a denoise setting of 5 and crystalizer enabled in FFDShow Audio Processor for improved audio fidelity

I have FFDShow Raw Video filter and FFDShow Audio Processor added in External filters and ReClock Audio Decoder removed from external filters to allow FFDshow Audio processor to appear.

My PC is set up in my lounge room as a TV (Via a TV tuner) + 3D Surround Sound Home Theater + 3D Surround Sound Gaming System

When I play my DVD backups I also use ffdshow's resize filter with Lanczos (Both Luma and Chroma with 10 taps on both) which greatly increases image quality.  Frames drop with this enabled and disabled.

I also get crashes on MPC-HC if I seek quickly on both DVD and Blu-Ray backups.

I don't try running the discs itself on MPC-HC as I have an old blu-ray drive (I jumped on the PC blu-ray bandwagon early) so I do not think the discs will spin fast enough for SVP or even to play 3D blu-rays on PowerDVD Live as it is only a 4x speed drive.

I don't know what is causing the frame dropping I have tried uninstalling svp and all it's components and doing a clean install as this has solved other issues I had in the past (Except this one).  I tried the latest Nvidia Display drivers, but that caused choppy playback on all settings.  so I reverted to the 372.90 drivers.  I have tried "No acceleration", "DXVA2 (Copy-Back)" and "NVIDIA CUVID" in the "LAV Video Decoder (internal)" and I get frame dropping on all of those settings.

I am currently watching "Ted - Extended edition" and I pressed "CTRL + J" at 0:52:43 and got informed that 54612 frames were dropped and 5 presentation glitches.

Running in "EVR (Custom Presenter)" also gives me frame drops galore.    I can't seem to find how exactly many frames get dropped with CTRL + J in EVR (Custom Presenter) but I notice dropped frames visually when panning happens in a movie and I see the tiny jerks in the movement that indicate frames are being dropped.

Smooth motion in Mad VR has been disabled as I get and always got a slideshow with that enabled.   I am running at 5x framerate on a 120Hz monitor (ASUS VG278).and would love a solution that does not mean having to drop it to 2x framerate.

also I found having a set framerate of 120fps or even 60fps meant at the start of every movie the sound would cut off completely for half a second even though I get the 120fps on 5x with 24fps videos and no sound cut off on 5X framerate (with same framerate as fixed 120fps)

I am not using debanding, sharpening, detail enhancing, edge sharpening, super res or deringing in Mad VR and am using DXVA2 for image upsize and downsize and soft bicubic at 100 on chroma upsizing and downsizing.

Alter Video Frame Size: "Disabled"

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe my hardware should not have any issues with SVP 4 Pro

If any other information is needed please ask and I will inform.

Please assist.  This is driving me up the wall.

EDIT 1:
I am also getting 2-3 dropped frames per second at 2x framerate (48Fps) on Mad VR

EDIT 2:
When playing DVD backups on "EVR (Custom Presenter)" the audio and video are about half a second out of sync right from the start, even without FFDShow resize enabled, and on different SVP settings and on 2x framerate all the way up to 5x framerate settings, even though 1080p movies have no sync issues on "EVR (Custom Presenter)".

Although on 1080p backups I get better performance on "EVR (Custom Presenter)" DVD backups are unwatchable due to atrocious audio/video sync issues and I find it an annoyance having to keep changing the renderer every time I switch between Blu-Ray backups and DVD backups.

EDIT 3:
Frames drop like crazy on Mad VR even when windowed.  Frames also drop like crazy when I set my monitor's display to 1280x720 and even when I change my refresh rate to 60Hz. This happens also on both windowed and fullscreen, even on 2x framerate. every second between 20-30 frames are dropped on 5x framerate and 5-10 are droped on 2x framerate every second, windowed and fullscreen.

EDIT 4:
By switching from FFDShow Raw Video Filter to FFDShow Video Decoder, I don't get nearly as many dropped frames, but the presentation glitches just rocket through the roof.  Over 400 in 12 seconds and it just kept going up and up rapidly and never slowed down.  With FFDShow Video Decoder Audio/Video sync issues on DVD backups are not an issue in "EVR (Custom Presenter)", my mouse buttons becomes completely unresponsive in fullscreen and in windowed mode the mouse buttons are unresponsive when the cursor is inside the bounds of the MPC-HC window, meaning navigating my playlists is completely impossible.

I just can't ****ing win here!

EDIT 5:
I have improved things quite a bit by re-enabling the Raw video filter, setting the framerate to 4x, (around 100fps)

In the "General" settings in the "rendering" section of Mad VR I have:

Enable Windowed overlay: Enabled
Enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode: Disabled (Frame drops are at their worst in exclusive mode)
Disable Desktop Composition: Enabled (With Only in Fullscreen mode: Disabled)
Use Direct3D 11 for presentation: Disabled (Big improvement there)

In Svp Settings:

Frames Interpolation Mode: "Uniform (Max Fluidity)"
SVP Shader: "Standard" (Other shaders cause weird artifacts)
Artifacts Masking: "Strong"
Motion Vector Precision: "HAlf Pixel"
Motion Vectors grid "16Px, Average 0" ( any smaller size than that makes either choppy playback or slideshow)
Decrease Grid Step: "Disabled"
Search Radius: "Small and Fast"
Wide Search: "Disabled"
Width of top coarse level: "Small"
Processing od scene Changes "Repeat Frame"
Rendering Device: "GeForce GTX 970"
Frame Rate: "4x Framerate"
Crop Video Frame: "Disabled"
Outer Lighting: "Disabled"
2D Mode: "Enabled"
Reset on Seek: "Soft Reset"
Threads Used "Auto"
Alter Video Frame Size: "Disabled"

I played a 1080p movie and I had 27 dropped frames in 8 mins of playback at 100fps.

4x framerate seems smoother than 5x framerate due to significantly less dropped frames.  However on 5x framerate the dropped frames count is ever increasing but significantly slower (1-10 per second instead of 20-30).

Another thing I noticed is with the FFDShow resize filter enabled MPC-HC insta-crashes trying to open flash video files (.FLV) with the resize filter disabled during playback of a MKV or MP4 first, then FLV files open without a hitch.

I wonder what it is that cause FLV files to crash the media player when FFDShow's resize filter is enabled?

FLV files open everytime with the resize filter enabled if I disable SVP 4 Pro.

If there is a way to kill frame dropping without having to lower these SVP settings please let me know.

I am at a loss as to how to fix this.  if I disable svp then these files play on MPC-HC, but with SVP enabled they insta-crash when opening.

When these files are playing with svp disabled, if I enable svp while they are playing, then MPC-HC crashes straight away.

I am only having luck with .MKV and .AVI files on SVP 4

This happens with "Nvidia CUVID", "DXVA2 (Copy-back)" and "none" under hardware acceleration in the LAV video decoder settings.

Complete uninstall of all SVP 4 components (including MPC-HC) and reinstall does not solve this issue.

Assistance would be vastly appreciated.

Predator was named "Predator 3D' but all the 3D backups have "(MVC3D)" in the filenemes, so I can quickly identify which files are 3D.  (like I also have in brackets "(DTS-HDMA 5.1 Audio)" or "(Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio)" or "(TrueHD 5.1 Audio)" so I know which ones would sound better).

Although I don't think the audio codecs sound different as my Sound blaster Zx uses Hardware DTS encoding/decoding (at 24bit 96000Khz 5.1) and I have set FFDshow audio Codec to resample all audio on MPC-HC to 96000Khz with a mild denoise effect and use hardware crystalizer via creative control panel, which makes even a DD 5.1 DVD sound boss.

THANK YOU!  That fixed it.  You are a godsend! big_smile

Although the 2D re-backup is flawless.  This saves having a 35Gb 3D backup and an 18Gb 2D backup on the same HDD, thus saving crucial space.

I have a few lossless (and massive) 3D blu-ray backups on my 8Tb HDD, but only Predator gave this issue, while the others were fine.  Weird.

I will need to keep this trick in the memory bank, in case I get this issue again.

Is there a way to set 2D as a general setting to apply to all movies in SVP 4, rather than after opening a particular movie and just for that particular movie?

With stereoscopic player, I had to unrestrict ffdshow to allow for multiple instances.  Before I did that Stereoscopic player would either crash or show a black screen with sound, if SVP 4 was active.

I guess SVP needs multiple instances too as even with 2x frame rate, the movies were a slide show and after each second of playback the audio got 1-2 seconds further out of sync.

I could not aleviate it at all.  Reclock hates stereoscopic player and even with SVP 4 closed and not active in taskbar, if reclock was on all sound was out of sync from video no matter what video or audio codecs were used.

I had to set reclock to "never load" for Stereoscopic player to avoid this issue.

all in all by setting up my PC in my lounge as a home theater with DTS 5.1 Surround sound, Nvidia 3D vision 2, a digital HDTV tuner and a whopping great HDD to back up all my DVD's and blu-rays on to was a great investment.

SVP 4 makes my 2D lounge room viewing much better, and I hope one day MVC3D gets figured out so that 3D viewing gets the same great smoothness!

Thanks for the quick reply.  I checked and Stereo mode by aspect ratio is unchecked.

I manually uninstalled all components and reinstalled them and it fixed the issue for all but 1 movie.  A blu-ray I bought today (With 2 others) that I converted to MKV on my massive 8tb HDD for use with SVP 4.  "Predator" it is a 3D blu-ray but with MVC movies on MPC-HC only the left frame renders.  my other MVC movies don't have this issue, only Predator.  (Funny a 1987 movie being in Blu-ray 3D.  It peaked my intrest so I bought it).

I am re-backing it up as a non 3D MKV and will test it when all is complete.

Maybe it is the way the frames are packed in this movie in particular that MPC-HC renders both frames but only shows the left?

I wish that SVP would work on Stereoscopic player for MVC3D video files.  Every time I convert one of my 3D blu-rays to SBS3d iI either get DVD resolution or black bars on the left and right of the screen and a picture squashed out of aspect.

I am including a photo of the blu-ray with my U/N written by it to prove that it is a legit copy and not piracy of a rental movie.

Hi.  I use SVP pro and at the moment I seem to be getting a line artifact horizontally across the middle of the screen on vertical panning on 120Hz.  Vsync is on for SVM4, MPC-HC and Reckock and the artifact persists.  It is present on MadVR with or without exclusive mode, and EVR (Custom Presenter (With and without D3D Fullscreen).

I spent the last 2 hours toying with the SVP4 settings to no avail.  This artifact, recently appeared and looks like it is here to stay.

Advice would be appreciated.  My movie experience is somewhat hampered with a clear horizontal line accross the middle of my screen every time the camera pans up or down (Or diagonally)

Lav Video acceleration settings (Off, DXVA2 - Copy Back and Nvidia CUVID) do not change this issue.

CPU: 4.2Ghz Intel Core i7-4790K
GPU: 4Gb GDDR5 Gigabyte Nvidia GTX970 G1 Gaming
RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 DDR3 RAM

No matter what I try if I run any file on latest ver of Stereoscopic player with SVP4 running in the background I get an instant AppCrash of stereoscopic player.

I can not get a conversion to SBS to work at all either.

Pavtube bytecopy leaved me with a 3D DVD (960x540) even when "full" is selected, Id hate to see how bad it would be if I selected "half"

DVDFab9 doesn't halve the resolution but no matter what I try I get black bars on the left and right of both frames (left and right) and the picture is squashed in to fit in those black bars destroying the aspect ratio severely, making the film unwatchable.

Is there anything I can do to get SVP 4 pro to work with 3D content?

Please assist.

64bit won't work for me.  9 out of 10 videos loaded insta-crash MPC-HC x64.  Reverting back to 32bit.

Thank You!

As the title says, after updating and trying out 64bit MPC-HC SVP warns me in the taskbar "64Bit SVP Engine not installed"  the only file I can download is from the link supplied by the SVP team to my email after
purchase and it is the same "SVP Online.exe", not "SVP Online x64.exe" or anything like that.

How do I get SVP 4 pro to use 64bit players.  This is driving me mad are are NO instructions and NO additional downloads.

HELP!

I get a big flickering issue with SVP 4 Pro mainly with H.264 codec as well as .MKV container.  I have not found any way to stop this.  I have to play these video files with SVP 4 disabled or they are unwatchable.  They play fine for 3-5 seconds and it seems like it is playing an older frame after every few frames resulting on a severe flicker every second, regardless if there is motion or if the scene is static.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have had this issue even back when I used SVP 3.  Disabling GPU acceleration, disabling hardware acceleration in LAV, switching between DXVA2 (Native), DXVA2 (Copy-Back), Nvidia CUVID, changing from VMR9 to EVR (Custom Presenter) to MadVR does not solve this issue.  Only quitting SVP 4 pro altogether stops the flicker in these videos, of course with no more frame interpolation.

I am up the tree with this bug and doubt I will ever solve it, if anyone else got this bug and found a workaround, please reply.

Using SVP 4 Pro on Windows 7 (64Bit) with 4Ghz Intel Core i7 4790k, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400 DDR3 RAM, and 4Gb Gigabyte Geforce GTX970 G1 Gaming.

EDIT: I found the problem.  If I have FFDshow Raw Filter to resize (Required for My rig for ANYTHING above or below 1080p) no matter what the resize settings it is an outright flickerfest.  The resize options in the renderers (EVR (custom presenter), VMR9, MadVR) do not work on my machine and process all videos lower than 1080p pre-resize and then upscaled in shitty Nearest Neighbor.  So I either get Blocky videos or Flickering ones.

I would love a patch (If possible) for SVP 4 Pro to allow FFDShow Raw Filter's Resize option to not screw up SVP4.

Until then I can only watch 1080p videos as I do not want Flicker, but also do not want blocky videos (SD is horrible that way)

resize in the renderer doesn't work for me.  I tried VMR9, EVR (Custom Presenter) and MadVR and without resizing in FFDShow Raw Filter it processed the video, then resized in Nearest Neighbor regardless of the settings and ended up looking atrocious if it was smaller than 1080p

However I got things working now after first uninstalling MPC-HC, then AVIsynth, then FFDshow, then LAV, then Reclock, then SVP4 Pro and reinstalling SVP4 pro.  The resize in FFDshow Raw Filter was still there and I did not get a near slideshow with AVIsynth enabled.  On a bonus I can render via SVP 4 in EVR (Custom Presenter) with max settings up to 90FPS (Including Artifact Masking = Strongest)

Woot Woot!!!!

I discovered how to get out of nearest neighbor.  It is in FfdShow RAW Video filter.

The problem is if I use resize at all, not only can I not use SVP at all but even without SVP on if AVISynth is checked (SVP Requires that) I get 10-15FPS jerkyness and the audio goes out of sync and cuts out for 1-2 seconds every few seconds.

I even have the lightest settings in resize (Fast Bilinear) and still get this issue, in fact it is no difference in lack of performance then 10 tap Lanzcos. (With AVIsynth disabled performance is flawless (but no interpolation)

I can not play videos that are either higher or lower resolution than 1080p with SVP even installed unless I disable resize in the FfdShow Raw Video filter and having to endure blocky ****ty videos.

Some lines are probably needed in the AVISynth script but I have no Idea where?

Help needed.

The script in my AVISynth is:

global svppath="C:\Users\Nick\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\"
try {
   import(svppath+"scripts\e0632.avs")
}
catch(err_msg) {
   ffdshow_source().Subtitle(err_msg)
   WriteFileStart(svppath+"logs\err-e0632.avs.log", "err_msg")
}

How do I change this so SVP still works without my framerate on all videos below my native resolution (1080p), and all videos above my native resolution (With or without SVP) being F.U.B.A.R.?
