Interestingly enough, regardless of whether you're using GPU acceleration or not, the 2c profile does in fact use different (lower) settings than the 2g profile.

surprisingly, "xC" profiles are for "cpu only" systems and "xG" are for systems with a GPU
In multi-GPU systems SVP uses one that is selected in the menu...

You can easily track all the frame transformations in both SVP's events log and madVR's osd...
Look through SVP' events log. Do you see any warning / critical errors starting with "VideoPlayer" ?

This's not about "10 bit" actually.
madVR changes display mode to something, may be to "10 bit output", SVP tries to re-measure refresh rate and fails (because "full screen exclusive" renderer blocks SVP's ability to measure it) and takes "Windows refresh rate" (which is an integer value).
It this particular case refresh rate was not changed so SVP could keep previously measured value of 59.xxx instead of falling back to 59.000.

No. GPU assisted version is much more precise (floating point vs. integer math).
Moreover bicubic interpolation of MVs field and frame composition in linear light are not in use in CPU-only mode.
