4K is always about memory usage.
Just save the memory and you'll be fine

Mine starts to drop frequencies to the ground after a few minutes which makes it almost impossible to use with SVP.

SVP 4 for Windows is a rewritten Manager.
SVP 4 for Mac is a rewritten core libraries plus some OS-dependent part of the new Manager plus a lot of headache (beginning from I don't have Mac).

Obviously this's NVs driver issue - it hangs when tries to serve two simultaneous computation threads.
In this case - LAV CUVID + SVP with GPU acceleration on.
Both combinations - "LAV/DXVA + SVP/GPU" and "LAV/CUVID + SVP/CPU" works, while "LAV/CUVID + SVP/GPU" hangs.

I recommend that you guys register every email that has donated SO FAR, so all the people that have already donated $10, $25, and $100 will get every version for free, but from NOW ON, and because you added the wording now into the Indiegogo website, will have to comply with the NEW rules. Meaning they shouldn't expect the Mac and Linux versions to be free from NOW ON. But all those who paid before should, because you didn't specify that they should not.
And this's exactly how it works.

A little clarification about "$15 for the MacOS edition".
At the campaign start we didn't thought about anything but Windows. This's the reason why "Forever free" perk description lacks the word "Windows", it's just implied.
