I preferred the option touch window from inside /outside, try all an see which it's best for you
-Select to Screen in the options of the image
-Resize the video, that way the interpolation is less demanding.
-You always get an upscalling via madvr or spv, that is why the video is not that different, this being a very good option for many,a good trade off, interpolation and performance.

4)Ive set it to fixed 60 fps in SVP.
-Try Resize like flowreen91 said
-Try to set X2 o x3 instead fixed
-If you use Madvr try set default settings
-Ctrl J shows your stats , see if your playback drops frames
- Try other models V2 its an option
- This also happens to you with MPV?
aliyansaleem2013 wrote:Hello,
I am new to motion interpolation and this software.
I just want to watch anime and some movies at 60 fps.
i setup tensorRT and watched a few movies, it worked flawlessly.
However, now I am watching an anime and the audio is completely out of sync. Audio comes first and the scene happens after.
My Specs are:
5600X
32GB
3060
Rife Options
Threads: 2
Model: 4.6
Performance Boost: Enabled
Scene Change Threshold: Custom:36, I tried all different values. 10, 15, 20 etc
and Do not remove duplicate frames.
Some more information
- What video player do you use?
- What is the frequency of your monitor?
-What is the frame rate of the video?
-Frame rate variable?

I tried the vs-mlrt you mentioned (the one from 2 days ago) and the only problem was not taking models from the v2 folders
instead build from the models/rife folder
I honestly dont remenber what I changed in the old vs-mlrt. Because I run into this problem before
Check if you have other Vapoursynth and/or Python installations somewhere. If so , deleted and use the one in the svp installer.

I think the lack of G-sync/freesync support causing this.
try the options video -> frame synch -> "Sync video to display" in MPC, it may fix the problem
Thanks for your recommendation, it makes some scenes a little better, but I still see some stuttering that is not present when using RIFe+MPCHC+MAdvr.

I Micha, sorry for my late response
- My cpu is a 13600k
- Why 4.15v2 for me its the best model so far
-The SCT % was discussed in the Re: New RIFE filter - 3x faster AI interpolation possible in SVP!! topic you can search for Scene change threshold 100
-My movies are mostly 4k and 1080 rips , but I use frc.frame.resize set to 19200800 then upscale with Madvr to 2560*1440
dawkinscm wrote:Drakko01 wrote:dawkinscm wrote:1920x2160.
It's a odd resolution to use and also a odd screen resolution. Can you explain the reason for choosing that resolution in your rips?
I didn't choose it. This is the standard resolution for 3D blu-ray.
Oh, sure! I completely forgot about 3D movies, I haven't played one in years. I played them at the beginning of SVP on a 55-inch LG8500 and seeing 3D avatar at 60 fps was a true experience. Even with the artifacts of that time.

BTW After more testing with the default TRT 8.5.1, Rife v4.16 lite and v4.15 lite are almost identical. Rife v4.15 is slightly better than both. I don't know about anyone else but for me, it looks like I should have stuck with the default TRT.
I am exactly at your numbers even using TRT 9.2.
I was always curious why the devs never updated the TRT Version if there its a reason not to.
It's not stable. When you you are at my numbers with TRT 9.2, are you running large files that have 2x the vertical resolution of a FHD file at 72fps on v4.15?
Maybe i I didn't understood what resolution do you use, but you statement was a little vague...
Generally I play 4k sources downscale to 1920*800 by svp and upscale to 2560*1440 with madvr.
dawkinscm wrote:RickyAstle98 wrote:dawkinscm wrote:Now that I'm back on TRT8.5.1 I am able to run Rife v4.15v2 at 72fps which uses about 75-90% GPU. The lite version uses about 60-80% GPU. For me I suppose that it goes without saying that:
4.15v2/72 > 4.15v2 lite/72 > 4.15v2/60 > 4.15v2/60 lite > everything else.
FHD or 4K?

4.4 smoothest (for me)
For me they are all about as smooth as each other but 4.15 and 4.15 lite have by far the least artefacts. 4.15 lite is the best all round.
Hi, for me its about the same as dawkinscm, best models so far 4.15 branch. I use the 4.15 V2 the only artefact left its tiny fast moving objects in some cases doubling the image
RickyAstle98 wrote:dawkinscm wrote:I don't see anything even after slowing it down. What am I supposed to see?
Video is predelayed for showcase purposes, this means you might see the issue as it look like, not RIFE related! Look at the car, its going reverse and forwards, thats how it looks like with newer models for me, its not rendered video!
I cant post prerendered video only because its a realtime playback bug, plz understand me! Thats propably MPV player issue, different codecs - different behavior!
I understand exacly what you ment, do you give a video example to test where this happened to you
Mine its working whitout problems

Here it is.
Same as Dawkinscm no artefacts in this clip.
Hey! I encourage everyone to try the new driver hotfix of nvidia 551.46. They address various sttutering and micro-stuttering and it seems to me that this benefited svp. Let me know what you think.
For those who have more technical knowledge, this it's good for us, right?

Interesting on Github under 4.9 v2 notes it says this:
This improvement does not work after onnx file renaming
The full quote:
RIFE v4.7-v4.9 models with v2 representation for TRT backend now has improved accuracy, contributed by @charlessuh (#66 (comment)). This has been backported to master. This improvement does not work after onnx file renaming.
I tried the new V2 update but I cannot use the model above v4.7-v4.9 v2
I got the error when I ran V4.7>4.9 _v2
[E] Error[4]: [graphShapeAnalyzer.cpp::nvinfer1::builder::`anonymous-namespace'::ShapeAnalyzerImpl::analyzeShapes::2013] Error Code 4: Miscellaneous (IElementWiseLayer /Add: broadcast dimensions must be conformable)
What about use this method instead of renaming
Blackfyre wrote:RIFE 4.9 needs to be added to SVP, maybe even as a third option @Chainik
I think the same. I tested and see some improvements in some scenes. @Chainik, if more users request it, do you consider doing it?
dawkinscm wrote:Rife 4.9 is out. First I've got "some" GPU peformance back. Before I was peaking at 83% now I'm peaking at 79%. One of my test files no longer shows any artefacts. Another test file shows improvement and the artefact can be mitigated by reducing SC. One related artefact is still present but seems to have slightly improved as well.
s Rife 4.9 better or improved for movies in general or only focused on anime, thanks in advance.

This issue is trigger by enable Direct3d 11 in madvr ,for context that s always setting like that without any problem.
Anyone has any ideas on what can i do to fix it ?
I found the root of all my problems, no svp update, no mpchc update, no vapoursynth update, it was the windows 11 update in its preview version 25967.1000. The new update 25977.1000 fixed all the problems I had with playback. Now it is working as before.
Chainik wrote:dunno, there're no errors in that log... does it work for 1080p?
maybe it's similar to https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7033
all we can do is update vsmlrt, may be there's some known and fixed issue with 4090 / latest drivers /etc...
Please update vsmlrt maybe fix all my problems
