Hmm, it's strange...
Just installed 12.8 on my laptop with HD6400 and it's working fine, ver. number is 1.4.1741.
jerg
will you guys be working towards catching up to the later ATI/AMD graphics driver versions as usual?
as usual
Fault Module Name: amdocl.dll
This should give a hint
May be 12.8 runtime is too "up to date".
I'll certainly look into this but I think it's best to rollback to any previous driver version now.
Windows Me.
this's not quite correct
50 fps = 20 ms period
60 fps = 16.6 ms period
Least common multiple of 200 and 166 is 8300, 8300 / 166 = 50.
So only each 50th frame will be original one while 49 others interpolated.
xp?

but these places do not work.
MSmoothFps
SelectEvery(3,0,1)
super=SVSuper(super_params)
vectors=SVAnalyse(super, analyse_params)
smooth_video=SVSmoothFps(super, vectors, smoothfps_params, mt=threads, url="www.svp-team.com")
24*(2/3)*2 = 32 fps
It works. SVP index goes crazy (48 / 32 = 1.5) but who cares?

though it's minimal acceptable hardware I wouldn't expect it'll play 1080p smoothly

I dunno what you've expected but it's not a big surprise that two HW decoders have similar CPU consumption.
"default" settings are the best BUT:
1. I personally think 21th "SVP shader" is better than 13th (though this didn't affect performance in GPU mode)
2. Some believe "Decrease grid step" helps and in that case "by two with global refinement" is almost an ultimate value
So it's more like "highest" test in SVPmark
raymondkwan
what will be the hardware requirement if those "ultra high" settings are set too
6+HT cores @5GHz ?
How can I set the video processor used as Quicksync (QS)
in LAV decoder properties

Thanks!

And how's the performance if I buy a recent graphics card that support OpenCL
1.5-2 times better according to SVPmark database
plus more smoothness and picture quality

Devices with Beta Level Support: OpenCL™ support for these devices is deprecated.

Any chance there will be support for ATI 4850
no way
Small example how it works:
1. Define new profile parameter - copy the code
MyVar;My custom variable
-1;One
-2;Two
-3;Three
to the end of "SVP 3.1\ProfileCfg\MSmoothFps_x" files
Restart SVP Manager and open profile editor:
2. Use this variable in SVPMgr.wsf code like this:
myVar=valueProfile("MyVar");
switch(myVar)
{
case 1: <do something>; break;
case 2: <do something else>; break;
...
}

Currently I was editing the SVPMgr.wsf to add the avisyhtn filters.
It's a much more advanced way cause you can conditionally modify output script with JS code
And these "conditions" can be set from Profile editor.

I set MPC-HC in this cases to obviously switch the TV refresh rate to 1080p 50Hz and let lav video filter do the deinterlacing job via NVIDIA CUVID (hardware) and SVP was working all the same
Hmm, I believe in that case SVP should do nothing.
Could you post "Information -> Additional information" report here, just to make sure?
try to set "audio renderer" to "system default" in MPC-HC and set HDMI as default output in "Sound" applet in Control Panel
alerto
