this is a "try to recover HDR colors" bug
but as we have Avisynth Filter now with a HDR pass-through to madVR, this ffdshow+"recover HDR" path looks obsolete
> This is, up to now, the only video, for a very long time, exposing such an issue issue.
not possible until the Whirligig author add Avisynth filter as an option
if you're paid Whirligig user you can ask nim nicely from your side
> А PotPlayer почему-то выдает зеленый экран вместо видео с AVSF.
to the separate video profile named "Ignore HFR sources"

а без AVSF - не зеленый?
then SVP (i.e. frame interpolation) is not a bottleneck here
I'm not a big expert in x265 but from what I read in various tests 60% CPU utilization is normal
and how many fps it does? at what resolution?
yeah, this is indeed because of "Try to recover HDR colors" option turned on.
switch to Avisynth Filter + madVR: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Avisynth_Filter_(AVSF)
hmmm...
HDR source?
ffdshow or AVSF?
what video renderer?
do you mean "Ethernet 7" / VirtualBox adapter?
then there's a better workaround - rename it to the default name which is "VirtualBox Host-Only Network", and SVPcast will just ignore it
nope. it's using the first appropriate ip
if you have several network interfaces connected to different LANs then you may not be in luck
if you show the list of all the network interfaces you have with their names and ip addresses I could figure out a solution
Do you see message like this - 'Streaming: Web UI listening on http://192.168.3.42:9900' - in the log?
> How do I add my public ip to the dynamic dns?
it's on by default - cast.server.ddns = true in All settings
> A possible reason: For quite a while svp-maintenance has been trowing an error during each update, that unregister.bat and register.bat exited with an error.
yeah, this might be the reason for not updating the registry
there's no such message in SVP
show a screenshot
they changed the registry key for storing settings in 1.0.0
but SVP's update script should handle this, and I just checked - it does
please check - do you have the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AviSynthFilter\AviSynth Filter" key?
and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AviSynthFilter\AviSynth Filter\RemoteControl must be set to 1
yeah, why not?
> but couldn't find much. Only found a video in Polish, which i don't speak.
And you're trying to open it via what URL exactly?
I mean I don't see your public IP in the "dynamic dns" list on the server side, which means https://www.svp-team.com/cast won't work.
Do you see message like this - 'Streaming: Web UI listening on http://192.168.3.42:9900' - in the log?
as videotoolbox is the only hw decoder available on Mac then auto-copy is exactly the same
then stop using the cracked version and asking for support
recent SVP versions set required permissions automatically once you select "SVP in VLC"
what SVP version are you using?
do you see UAC prompt?
> i have no idea on how to do it because you don't provide any info on how to do so
there're a lot of images on that wiki page...
and it clearly mention that you can simple run SVP menu -> Utilities -> "Set env. variable from VLC and mpv"
