I'm having this issue and it's driving me completely crazy, I can drag the respective video file over SVP with RIFE as the selected profile and it will just ignore that and use Automatic, I am forced to navigate to the drop down menu bottom left and then find the respective video file and change it to RIFE every time for every file, ts a 30 sec process that gets old really quick. I have RIFE as the selected profile and am dragging the video file onto the SVP window. What is the issue and are the devs aware of it?

I have a 32:9 panel, I want to move the pop up location that I'm forced to used to the left side of the screen. Having it pop up on the far right of my screen is annoying and impractical. Where is the option to do this? Thanks.

Hi, yes I'm trying to figure out what the issue is with MPC-BE, when I seek on automatic (not using RIFE) there is considerable delay and the player fumbles with the frames a bit, when I seek with MPV using the same parameters as MPC-BE there is no fumbling. Is there a difference between MPC-BE and MPC-HC that is causing this? Anyone else with this issue? I would switch to MPV but I can't stand that it's completely barebones with zero UI, zero built in menu, I have no idea what the hotkeys are and I can't configure anything.

I've followed the instructions here for MPC-HC, Avisynth is unchecked, VapourSynth refuses to run and presents the error in title. VapourSynth and Python are installed as RIFE RT works in MPV but I prefer MPC-BE because MPV is completely void of an interface and I don't have the time or patience to remap keys for basic functions that MPC-BE has. I vaguely remember a potential culprit with this issue being the Python path, however, I've selected "Environment Variables for VapourSynth" and it is not fixing the issue and I cannot remember if I did this with the initial installation.

I've done all of this:

https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/RIFE_AI_interpolation

TensorRT is a neural network engine heavily optimized for NVidia GPUs. It can be up to 100% faster than ncnn/Vulkan implementation, but there're a few cons, for example a very long optimization passes.

To give it a try install an additional package called "TensorRT" via SVP menu -> Utilities -> Additional programs and features, then choose the TensorRT engine in the RIFE video profile.

Only for Vapoursynth, so you have to switch to Vapoursynth Filter in MPC-HC (or any other DirectShow video player) first:

close MPC-HC
SVP menu -> Utilities -> Set environment variables for Vapoursynth -> Continue
run MPC-HC, View -> Options -> External filters, uncheck "Avisynth Filter", add "Vapoursynth Filter", check it and set to "Prefer"

Thanks in advance.

Actually I'm still having an issue somewhat, I managed to get this to work with MPV but I prefer MPC-BE and have it set as my default media player; when attempting to open video files with Vapoursynth Filter set as the External Filter for RIFE RT it presents an error "unable to initialize VapourSynth API 4.0". Searching this problem I found this thread: https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7163, with others unable to get this to work with MPC-HC / BE and good lord this is a convoluted process of troubleshooting, Python needs to be in this exact folder, way way too complicated and too much work for this.

I can't seem to get this to work, I went though all of the trouble installing Python and Vaporsynth and then adding Vapoursynth filter to External Filters of MPC-BE and setting it to Prefer and unchecking Avisynth SVP is telling me that Vapoursynth is required to use RIFE RT! I have an Nvidia GPU (RTX 4090), what could be the problem?! I've already tried closing and restarting both SVP and MPC-BE in order and even running SVP a admin. I don't know what the issue is! Thanks.

Update: I got it to work! I had other instances of MPC-BE open and closing them and restarting SVP and MPC-BE and it works! Even at only 48 FPS (4K) it feels smoother with less artifacts and seeking is much cleaner and responsive!

Hi, I'm having another issue with SVPTube where copying a Youtube or other video domain URL will trigger the SVPTube contextual menu pop-up, and it will show the URL in question in the pop-up, and pressing "Play" will launch the media player that, up until recently would continue to play said media but now it will not actually play said content, media player will open on the desktop but refuses to present or play media. Any ideas? Thanks.

I apologize, after restoring from System Image things are back to normal except SVPTube refusing to actually play youtube content, I will sort it out tomorrow, I'm editing this thread as I don't want to offend anyone.

Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks.

I don't know when this issue cropped up as I haven't used it in a while but today I attempt to play a youtube video by copying it's URL SVPTube would initially open and recognize the video but then refuse to play the content if I asked it to in the pop-up menu, the default video player MPV not even opening. So I tried changing the default player to MPC-BE and now SVPTube doesn't open automatically when copying a video's URL and when I manually open the dialog window it will now open MPC-BE when I ask it to play the video, which it still recognizes, and MPC-BE opens but no content is shown, it's just an empty player. I have no idea how to resolve this. Thanks for any help.

Nevermind, I got it to work changing the settings back and forth for about 10 minutes. I have no idea why it decided to stop working in the first place, I never made any changes to the Black Bar Detection settings.

I'm trying to play the Mandalorian, Season 3, and Black Bar Detection was working recently but now it straight up refuses to work. I've tried closing and restarting SVP, I've checked and Black Bar Detection is enabled in SVP. So many bugs!

Update, adding YT cookies, being forced to add an extension to Edge and go through a multi-step process fixed the issue. Is this nanny bullshit required for SVPTube2 to work or are SVP devs simply "woke" or? https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Manual:SV … n_Websites

This is suddenly a problem again, trying to view the Dead Space 2 trailer SVPTube2 is refusing to play the content "sign in to confirm your age, this content may be inappropriate for some users". My authentication was already saved by SVPTube2 so I don't know why this is happening again, in the password field, the number of characters didn't match the number of my actual password so I attempted to put my password in this field and the problem persists. I then instructed SVPTube2 to forget Youtube, then re-added it and entered my username and password and this problem persists. What is the issue here? This is absolutely retarded, why does SVPTube2 have this nanny bullshit?

So fucking sick of the bugs! Out of the blue SVP Tube is telling me that  I need to sign in. I've signed it with my google account and pass and the problem persists. Ready to punch my fucking computer screen. TIRED OF THE BULLSHIT WITH SVP.

I'm having an issue that is beyond extremely annoying where if I close MPV and open a new file SVP will not respect my SVP panel profile settings. I.E., if I have 90 Hz profile selected, SVP just ignores that and insists on playing the new file at 240 Hz. The automatic profile option is 90 Hz, but it's not that, for whatever reason SVP insists on using a profile that my CPU cannot cope with (I use SVP with CPU as I'm mining Ethereum with GPU, I can run content at 240 Hz with the GPU). What is the problem here?

Also, another problem that is extremely annoying is that if I attempt to change profiles within SVP control panel while playing content changing them with the main interface does nothing, I need to navigate some cumbersome, convoluted drop down menu at the bottom of the control panel and then find the media in question, navigate 3 or 4 more drop down menus to do so. Why is it designed like this?

Trying to reinstall SVP it just fucking force restarted my fucking PC again. Golf clap? Is this the beta?

https://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopi … 115#p79115

Yeah, so, it continued to refuse to work even though I did everything correctly and then I realized that there was an SVP update and checking the changelog and there was a "bypass age restriction" update for SVPTube, so I attempted to update within SVP and at some point the update halted and informed me that programs related to the update were open and so I closed all the web browsers and the problem persisted, I then tried "ignore" and it fucking force restarted my PC and I had two instances of Topaz VEAI open and was at the end of nearly 8 hours of rendering and I lost all progress because of this fucking bullshit. If you could fucking fix that that would be great.

SVP is uninstalled now, so I get to fucking reinstall from scratch and redo all of my fucking settings and keybinds. Great job.

signed where? in the web browser?
in this case you should also set auth data (via cookies) in SVPtube itself

Hi Chainik! Thanks for the help, yes I meant signed in to YT in a web browser, I didn't know about setting auth data in SVPTube2, I simply entered my username and pass and can now DL the video, thanks again!

Hi everyone, I'm trying to DL a youtube video with SVPTube2 (paid, premium) and it's returning this error "Sign in to confirm your age, sensitive content" even though I'm signed in to Youtube? Thanks for any help with this

Additional info:

The only google hit I can find pertaining to this issue is this one, but it appears that I'm not alone with this problem:
