The Free version is always interpolates up to the screen refresh rate.

And for the Pro there is a manual.

Thank you. So basically what you're saying is the Pro version will be able to handle VFR lag since you can turn off automation and just use a constant value?

Chainik wrote:

the best answer is "don't download variable frame rate anime"

it switches between 23.976 and 29.970 like every minute

Yeah, seems like the VFR is the cause. For this anime there is no alternative out there though:/

Is there any SVP option to get around this? I searched other threads for VFR and I saw this for example :

Your video has variable frame rate (VFR) or fake VFR. Use constant multiplier x2,5 to get flawless playback without switching between different multipliers.

Is this a possible solution? If yes, how/where do I set this up?

Thanks. I ran similar anime video file again, with same lag problem. Here is the log.

SVP doesn't like variable frame rate videos.
What's in the log?

Where to get the log?

Hi.

I can't get SVP to work, even though I got quite a modern system:
Intel Core i5 6600K 4,4 ghz, GeForce GTX 1070, Windows 10 64bit, 4K Gsync 60hz monitor

Using the standard package with SVP4, MPC HC, MadVR, Reclock. FFDshow and DXVA2 Copy back. Mainly for watching anime.

But the video with SVP on lags/stutters/drops frames for a brief second like every 10-20 sec (and when it happens you that SVP message in bottom left Corner: SVP: Playing at 59.248, Automatic. And next time it drops frames it says same thing again, but with another value like 59.940. Dunno if this can be of any help).

Anyhow, super annoying and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried searching for solutions here and I've tried a lot of stuff:

Watch in windowed and not in fullscreen - problem persist
Disable GPU acceleration via SVP tray icon -> application settings - problem persist
Swap out Madvr for Enhanced Video Render - custom presenter with D3D fullscreen - problem persist
Set video profile slider to maximum higher performance - problem persist
MadVR Smooth motion both on and off - problem persist
MPCHC both in 32 and 64 bit - problem persist

Don't know what to try next. Any ideas?

Below are some stats if they are of any help
