Thanks,

I updated the driver, and that seems to have done something. Did crash once more, same sort of bug report but the number was different if I recall correctly: #6242. Later on instead of crashing it only got into "lag mode"  with and index of around 0.1, where only restart of mpc or svp got it working properly again.

However I think I found what is causing the problems; I had been playing the files directly from the compressed .rar archive, which was also on a network drive. Unpacked the files instead and have not had any issues since.
So maybe it's still some sort of bug, but the workaround is simple; just don't play unzipped files directly.

Thanks!

Looked in the log, did not find any from yesterday when I know it crashed at least twice. But found some earlier ones:
Hope I got the relevant information and apologies for the Swedish in there, let me know if any translations are needed.

For a week or two I have had intermittent crashes of MPCHC, possibly starting after a windows 10 update. Crashes about twice an hour, but randomly.
The crash often sends me to this bug tracker: https://trac.mpc-hc.org/ticket/6241
"MPC-HC crashed due to a bug in ffdshow."

I have the latest svp 4 and ffdshow tryouts rev4533.
Happens on multiple different files of varying quality, using different svp settings.

Please help me if there is something I can try, thanks!
