VLC is one of my favorite media players due to the fact that I watch a lot of youtube videos. I've found especially lower res content does benefit from a slight sharpning filter. Sadly VLC and svp doesn't work perfectly and I can't run at 144fps and use VLC. I've tried other video players and attempted to add sharpning in MPV but nothings come through. I don't think sharpning is the best feature but adding effects similar to those found under VLC WOULD BE A MASSIVE FEATURE. I don't know fully how SVP works so I don't know if its possible (not sure if it creates all new frames or just creates frame between others which one could make it hard the other easier).

Is there currently support for 240fps? If not is the max 144fps? Will there ever be support for 240fps? I have a 1080p 144hz monitor right now and play to upgrade to a 1440p 165 hz or hopefully 240hz which theres some rumors about. Regardless if its  capped at 144fps is this because of a software limitation or was it just chosen because artifacting at higher than that would become almost impossible to not notice?

Problem is fixed after setting frc.target.max to 60 Thanks for the help I actually looked at FAQ before but the wording made it seem as if it wasn't that "problem". My bad thanks for the assistance.

Doesn't look like anything is messed up but its set to play at 144fps not 60fps. Note some videos from youtube work their just really rare and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with video containers such as mp4 or mkv.

Pretty simple regardless of how I download the video if I right click the svp icon and click open file with mpv it opens but plays as if svp wasn't open. Hovering over the SVP tray icon it says that video is playing but doesn't say its running at the set framerate rather playing at the videos normal framerate.

SVP is fully updated
Pretty much this means to watch youtube videos (main use for me) I have to download and then transcode them which is such a huge annoyance.
