Hi, thanks for responding so quickly! Fourcc.org lists Y800 as 8-bit YUV: "Y800    0x30303859    8    Simple, single Y plane for monochrome images". In color cameras it can be a Bayer pattern (demosaic / debayer required). I think it's very common for industrial cameras like Point Grey. Like I said, I'm not a video guru. In my FFDshow settings I tried decoders like RGB32, "All YUV", etc. Is this what you mean? I'm really not clear on where SVP "intercepts" the video and what needs to happen before that and how to make it happen...

Hi. I have managed to get SVP working for most of my videos in both VLC run from SVP and Zoomplayer, especially h.264 mp4 and such, but I would really like to have it work with machine vision files in "raw" format, codec Y800. So far I cannot get that to work in either VLC 3.0.7.1 Vetinari or in recent Zoomplayer version. I'm not a video guru. I have FFDshow installed. With Zoomplayer the FF tray icon appears, and in the decoder options, Codecs, Raw video I have tried all of the format options but none work. In VLC, I have gone to Input/Codes->Video codecs->FFmpeg->Hardware decoding and tried every option (including disable). (BTW, SVP may want to update their wording of what option to look for there. "Acceleration" is not found anywhere in All Preferences.)

Does anyone have any advice? TIA!
