Ok thanks !

I can't get the update

After your reply I started seeing "new version available" in the menu, when I click that it shows changes to youtube-dl (great, I didn't know you could update extensions separately). And when I click "get package", it takes me to https://www.svp-team.com/get/

The Mac version here has a filename of svp4-mac.4.5.210-5.dmg

I installed it again, just in case you forgot to update the package name. But inside it's still 4.5.0.212, and now it doesn't even show me "new version available" in the menu.

Hello,

I use the latest SVP4Mac (4.5.0.212) and some sites stopped working in SVPTube using clipboard monitoring (nothing happens or a 404 error is mentioned in the video formats window)

I suspect this is because there hasn't been a SVP release for Mac for a while, and youtube-dl is out of date.

I wonder if it would be possible to update the built-in youtube-dl installation, or if it's patched heavily to interface with SVPTube ?
I tried replacing /Applications/SVP\ 4\ Mac.app/Contents/Resources/extensions/tube/youtube_dl/ with a newer youtube_dl installation, but this breaks SVPTube (nothing detected). I suppose it's also because of the code signing requirements of macOS.

Is there a way to achieve this right now ?
If not, in the future, could you allow pointing to an external youtube-dl installation (the one from homebrew for example) ?

Will there be an updated SVP version for Mac soon ?

Thanks !
