I just uninstalled and reinstalled it now, so i think these are default settings.

Btw, i tested some other algorithms but they still put a lot of load. Maybe i shouldn't watch a 1080p movie on my 1440p screen at 144fps smile
But idk, I also tested without svp, and it seems all algorythms used to match my 1440p screen are heavy on my gpu (and it's not a bad one)

In the end, I also tested mpc-hc + svp and without madvr : no more 100% gpu. I guess i'm fine this way.

I use default madvr settings.

But I don't think it's related to madvr because it still uses 100% gpu after exiting madvr.

Hello everyone.

My problem is not really related to SVP but since MPC-HC is include in it, i think its ok to talk about it here.

Idk if i'm the only person with this problem but since a few weeks, while I watch something on MPH-HC, i hear my PC doing a lot of noises.
It's my gpu fans that spin to max speed because my GPU heat is higher than usual.
After some tests, i can confirm that's MPH-HC use 100% of my gpu (GTX 1080 Ti) when watching anything.

First, i checked if it was SVP related and the answer was no.
Then, i checked if it was only on fullscreen mode : I tested some other MPC-HC window size, and on little window size, it doesn't 100% my gpu. But it has to be minimal !

My screen is 1440p and i often watch 1080p movies. So i was wondering : is it the upscale algorythm that puts load on my gpu ?
Did they changed the default settings of upscale feature ? (i never touched them)

I switched tp MPV player so i can continue to use SVP but I prefer the better quality of MPC-HC with madvr and other filters.

Can someone help me to solve this issue ?
