I have found the error!

My GPU overclocking tool "Zotac Firestorm" caused the error or the increased values.

Everything works now without overclocking!

Thank you!

- Which CPU are you using? I still have an 8700K installed, the 13900K is waiting to be installed…

- why are you using this AI model 4.15v2?

- what does Scene change threshold: 30% Custom?

- what source material did you use? 720p / 1080p?

Thanks and best regards
Micha

Dear Community,

I am enthusiastic about RIFE AI. I would like to combine it with NVIDIA's Super Resolution and RTX Video HDR.

I have a 4090 plus 8700K, 16GB DDR4. The next few days I'm upgrading to a 13900K plus 32GB DDR5@7600MTs.

The source is a 1080p stream @ 25Hz (German TV channel). Output to the projector: 4K@60Hz

So far I can only manage the following combination:
A: Super Resolution: On + RTX Video HDR: On + SVP Automatic (with RIFE AI there is no video output in MPC-HC)
B: Super Resolution: Off + RTX Video HDR: On + SVP RIFE AI (this is how RIFE AI works, the picture is smooth, but nowhere near as brilliant as with the upsampling of NVIDIA's Super Resolution

Is it possible to activate everything together?

Here are my settings, which result in no Video-output:

MPC-HC x64
MPC Video-Renderer
- Request Super Resolution: for ≤ FullHD
- RTX Video HDR: On

External filters
- VapourSynth Filter: On and Prefer

SVP
RIFE AI engine
- Engine: NVIDIA TensorRT
- GPU threads: 3
- AI model: 4.9
- GPU device: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
- Performance boost: Disabled

- Scene change threshold: 10%
- Duplicate frames removal: Do not remove

____________

I have the following update after some more testing: with a local 720p video clip everything works together.

Does anyone have an idea why 1080p doesn't work? MPC-HC briefly shows the video for a few seconds at 1080p and then just a black screen.
