Rename the 4.25 heavy to 4.30 for example, worked for me without replacing vsmlrt.py a long time ago!
I have no idea why or how but this actually fixed it. Thanks!

I see, thanks again.
Can someone please post updated instructions on installing and using V2 rife models?
I tried to get it done based on this thread but all the significant information is either from 2023 with dead links, doesn't work or is impossible to understand for us common folk.
I attempted to add the "4.25 heavy" v2 model with and without replacing "vsmlrt.py". It appears in the "AI model" dropdown menu but no matter what I do I can't get it to work.
That did the trick, thanks!
EDIT: Additional question, is it possible to transcode a video and hardcode the filled borders into the new file?
Hi, recently I ran into an issue when trying to use the "Fill black bars option".
I'm playing a 3840x1600 video on a 2560x1440 screen and for some reason when "Alter video frame size" setting is set to my screen ("decrease to screen", "resize to screen" or "decrease to QHD"), the lighting only appears on the upper border of the video.
When I set it to "disabled" or "decrease to FHD" it works fine.
There indeed must have been a problem with the file that was exported by Topaz Video AI. Once I reencoded it with Handbrake everything worked.
14:25:27.416: [encode] Writing packet failed.
Checks the amount of free space on the hard disk
14:25:27.416: [ffmpeg] matroska: pts (1633300) < dts (1633311) in stream 0
Or your source file is corrupted.
Thanks for the reply! I'm sure that I have more than enough space on my disk, so I suspected it may be the file. I tried reencoding the file again with Handbrake and for now it seems to have fixed my issue. I will update when the transcode in SVP finishes.
Hi. For a few days now I've been trying to transcode a movie I have on my computer from 24fps to 90fps using RIFE AI Engine. Until recently I haven't had any problem with transcoding but now after a few percent the process just fails.
I've already tried to transcode other files, use all kinds of different settings in SVP and reinstall both RIFE AI and TensorRT, all to no avail. I'm attaching the log file that was generated during my last attempt as well as the settings I used. Also, during regular on-the-go interpolation there's no issue whatsoever.
As for technical information, I've tried using AI models 4.4, 4.6 and 4.9. For live interpolation I always use 4.4, because that's the best my GPU (RTX 3060 Ti) can handle at 1080p, interpolating to 72fps.
The file I was trying to transcode is an H.265 4K 24fps movie. The process starts as it should, goes on for a while and fails around 15-20% in. How can I fix this?
