Hi guys
what is the min. level for the graphics card if i use the high settings for svp with LAV decoder (cuvid + HW deinterlace)
and madVR renderer (jinc3+AR/jinc3+AR/CatMull-Rom+AR+LL)
1080p24 1080i50
CPU:2500K@4.5G

After resetting profiles to default, I can't reproduce. It was typically with people crossing the frame quickly. The ghosting occurred both in front of and behind the figures.I'll let you know if it happens again, but for now all is good.
Would you mind sharing the settings of the profile you using now?
1st post: try setting "Target frame rate" to "Double source frame rate (2x)" & turn off "Variable frame rate repair"
2nd post: go to "Settings"->"Enable deinterlacing"
just try to help
Try changing "Motion vectors precision" to "two pixels", others' set to default
...I am not a pro but i try to help
I have experienced "Warning: there's a memory leak in the video player" before (gone after recovering win7 due to virus)
would you try to uninstall everything related to SVP
reinstall SVP and also those necessary program include inside the full pack
esp. Avisynth 2.5.8 MT provided
That's strange... ffdshow video "icon" is shown...It should work
Same setting as yours & win7 64
I dont have GPU processing available.
same here
Synthetic CPU: MC 2218
Synthetic GPU: N/A
Real-life: 1781
No, I just thought that maybe there are some special settings that use more CPU/GPU and decrease the amount of artifacts or something like that, because I still have a lot of CPU/GPU capacity left.
Use MadVR
Upscale non 1080p video using resize in ffdshow(U can choose other decoder/filter?)
(Joke)Motion estimation accuracy: quarter pixel originalFPS x2 x3 x4
Unbenannt.png cannot access...
Would u mind telling me the CPU & GPU usage while using SVP without OpenCL @1080p
Thanks a lot!
If I use the "default" settings and set "decrease grid step" to "by two global refinement" and "complicated" shader, my CPU hovers at only around 10-12% and my GPU at ~20%.
Really!? Are you sure u really have turn on SVP? that's impressive
I use 2500k@4.5g with HD4850(no OpenCL acc.), MPC-HC, EVR-Custom, LAV+ffdshow raw filter
watch 1080p@3X Mbps
CPU usage around 6X to 80% with all default setting and set to One pixel
CPU usage exceed 99% (lag) with all default setting...
WOW how about 2-way (possible?) or more Xeon E5-4650 (8C16T), Xeon E7-8870 (10C20T)
Chainik
How can I set the video processor used as Quicksync (QS)
in LAV decoder properties
I tested a short AVC encoded 1080p video and I found that the CPU usage is nearly the same (around 70% CPU usage) as DXVA2 copy-back with the same SVP settings("default" with one pixel, Bilinear interpolation mode)...
no reduction in CPU usage
If Default setting /= highest setting, then what is the quality level "default" given? "high" in SVPmark "real-life test"?
Thus I can know the performance level
... How can I set the video processor used as Quicksync (QS) while I am having both the ATI HD4850 and Intel HD Graphics 3000 enabled in pc
Monitor is connected to HD4850 DVI
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=163110 QS huge improvement!?
THX! So... "default" setting is the best possible quality for today's high end hardware?
Some settings like "Frames interpolation mode", "SVP shader", "Decrease grid step" having higher quality(?) to be chosen
what will be the hardware requirement if those "ultra high" settings are set too
1. NO. OpenCL 1.1 or above is not supported by 4800 series
2. You just buy a new graphics card that support openCL
But SVP rely on CPU more than GPU
I'm using 2500K@4.5G with ATI 4850
All settings in 1080p profile are set to "default" except "Motion vectors precision" which is set to "Half pixel" due to low frame rate
CPU usage exceed 95% if all set to "default"
I would like to ask how can I improve the performance (maybe by software?)
And how's the performance if I buy a recent graphics card that support OpenCL
Thank you so much !
