Back to the artifacts I tell about it.

The artifacts are with a lot of decoders on fast motion.

With LAV/CoreAVC/FFshow latest versions.

I have found Elecard AVC decoder on internet, i have installed and used with SVP in combination with FFshow.

On the moment I cannot see any artifacts, but almost no sign of artifacts.

Now the mystery is, i don't know why this can.

Maybe elecard AVC  video decoder converting the frame rate to 24, or it's just because of bug in other decoders that cannot handle very good high frame rates.

I found also maybe that the option soft telecine may also have affect on reducing artifacts.

Is there maybe a possibility to use SVP without ffdshow?

Maybe you know the answer on it.

I using:

MSI Geforce 560Ti 1Gb version with the latest drivers.
on the moment also in combination with windows 8

Ok, I don't know why i it is.

But on default settings I got a lot of artifacts in fast scenes.
And is not realy smooth like it sould be.

I would be nice if SVP could change the frames speed, like reclock do.

The problem is, that my plasma Full HD TV, will not allow to set it to 59 Hz, it's take always 60 hz or 50hz

I think because it is a European model.

However, The reclock software don't change it, at least to late,
If i manually override it to 25 frames per second, SVP don't take the changes.

Maybe It will be 25 frames, however i don't think it will be go right, because it's 24 frames to 50 frames or 60 frames (50 hz/60hz)

Today, I found the real problem, is not SVP, or ffshow problem.

it's the file security of windows 8 that working not good.

I needed to manually access C:\Users\(profile name)\AppData\Roaming\SVP 3.1 to get SVP work.

You get in all folders an warning  (you don't currently have permission to access the folder)
When you access the folder, the problem is fixed.

Anyway I have manage to run VSP

I activate the administration account, and there works it on.
It's ask to install FFdshow,

The only thing I notic is, that the AviSynth missing in the account that windows 8 has made for me after setup.

I have try to put it manually the script code in the ffdshow control panel in avisynth, however I get a error in FFdshow when I try to activate avisynth in the control panel.

Another thing is, that the settings in avisynth+script are goin when I restart ffdshow

On the moment I have test it wit KMplayer, same results.


I think that the problem is, that windows 8 have stronger security settings of running program's
The register right is also different  to Windows 7

Or because of WDDM 1.2 drivers, maybe the windows 7 drivers works

Yes, i'm sure, the 64bit combination with MPC en FFshow crash with VSP and that with all windows versions

I have use the VSP software pack, so I cannot be wrong. I tested in different operation systems, but on win 8 it wil not work. (also with standard windows 8 drivers)
Also when you finaly play the movie, and you want to right click on the icon below in the corner of VSP, it's does notting at all.

I'm using & testing build 8400 x86/x64 with the latest Windows 8 Nvidia drivers , another thing is, it's not working with media player x86 classic latest version and beta,

Maybe it's works  still with the KMplayer, need to test that.

I would let you know that SVP not work yet with Windows 8

you can installed, but when you want to play a movie, the icon below in the corner wil not go on green, also the menu is block when playing a movie.
