I'm using elementary OS, and at the end of the mpv with vapoursynth installation i got this error.
"The project was not configured: run "waf configure" first!"When i try to enable the SVP with VLC it does not work, it says that i need to install the vlc support or check the vapoursynth install.
SMPlayer does not work also.
Problems that i`ve crossed so far..
1. VLC + SVP does not work with every single video, especially FLV videos, don`t know why..
2. some videos are getting blue color, like if someone else manually changed the hue color settings. When i turn SVP off, the color goes back to normal. This is the error that shows up > 06:35:18.254 [E.]: QWindowsPipeWriter: GetOverlappedResult failed. (O pipe foi finalizado.)
3. Native 1920x1080 videos is always playing a little choppy, far from a smooth experience , as reported from Chainik, SVP filter can't increase frame size.
It`s cool for people who enjoy watching video with VLC, but i still prefer DAUM Potplayer
I could barely get a smooth video motion with VLC.

1. add SVP 4/mpv64 folder to the PATH environment variable
2. add new env variable called PYTHONPATH, containing the same SVP 4/mpv64 path

change the smooth.rate.num in the override.js based on the width of the video, is that possible?
I tried this :

I'd like to know how can i save the change in the ffdshow pulldown, cuz every time svp runs, it goes back to Ignore Pulldown and i'd like to change and save to Smooth Timestamps.
Do i need to change something in the override.js file?

I'm with a problem, all my videos, using svp or not, using ffdshow or not, on the scene changes the video it's leaving an ugly frame trail/shadow i really don't know the name of that thing.
It's like that, a hand, leg, head, whatever it's moving the video leaves it's frame in there, what a normal video should do it's get blurry, but my it's not getting blurry it's all sharpen and with a ugly pre/frame or something, i'll post a SS.
See on that 'gun machine', the edge of that thing, it's all sharp and with some frames left, and it would suppose to be all blurry.
This problem started like a week ago, so i decided to reinstall my W7, unfortunately the problem it's still there for my surprise.
So everything indicates it may be a hardware problem? Since i'm using three different Media Player ( Pot, KM and MPC )
Have you ever seen anything like this?

I decided to reinstall my W7, so i just finished installing everything.
If i do not open SVP Manager the video works perfect, no crash, no lag, the ffdshow icon appears on the bottom of the window and etc..
Now if i open SVP i get the crash error, and yes, i've already applied the 4GB patch and it didn't work.
Tried with Potplayer, MPC, Kmplayer.... all with the same error.

First of all, it's not a problem with SVP, i just would like to know with someone can help me with something that it's buggin me... Devs can delete this topic anytime you want.
It all started after i installed a W7 pack, all my videos now gets oversampling, ghosting... something like that, yes, i tried the restore and backup option but it didn't work.
using any video player ( Kmplayer, Potplayer, Media Classic )
Here \/ it's a bmp with the 'bug', on the left it's the bug version and on the right it's splash pro, which for somehow it's not bugged.

I got better results using a dot crawl script, LUTDeCrawl.
If anyone test it someday you can copy the .avsi in the avisynth plugins page.
