I use both technoligies when watching movies at my TV. I use SVP to get 60 frames/sec then output it to TV via HDMI and my TV does 120 frames/sec. It gives best result comparing to SVP and TV FI separately. wink

I wonder do you use a 120 hz screen? or does your display interpolate at 120hz but displaying 60hz? I am asking because my Epson projector has hardware FI that seems to work that way (Epson isn't really clear about this though).

I assumed enabling FI on my projector would conflict (artifacts) with the already 'true' 60hz SVP frames my computer is feeding.

I am kinda suprised you use both smile

Thats the way to autodetect 3D video? so for half SBS i would have to put 'hsbs' in the filename?

What is the difference between Full SBS and Half SBS with SVP? Both seem to work identical.

I am not sure what you hear but I had sound which didn't feel 'right'. Especially dialog.

So I started using different sound modes from my AVR. It turned out my Receiver was getting an stereo (2.0) signal and was decoding it to surround (Dolby Pro Logic IIx).

Maybe thats your case too?

Another question; I am wondering why do I need Stereoscopic Player for SBS? Playing SBS in MPC seems to give the same results.

Sorry both don't work. In the left corner of Stereoscopic player i get a short 'Invalid script!' message.

Try this fix: SVPMgr315.1009_StereoModeAutoDetection_fix.zip

Stereo tags default values are included into SVP-Manager. So you not need to change hidden settings.

Instructions:
1. Exit SVP Manager
2. Unpack to SVP folder with files replacing
3. Run SVP Manager

Thank you! I will try it out tonight when back from work.

I get 3 extra additions to svp -> menu -> 'interface type'

but i am puzzled what is different now in my setup

Wow SVP is amazing!! 3D is now very watchable. This week I be buying copies for Stereo Scopic & DVDfab (for ripping to SBS) for sure. And donate SVP for making this possible.

Thanks.. i got it.  I feel pretty dumb. I was searching for some player included in the full download.

I hope this helps others though who want to try SVP out.

Honestly I can't find 'main menu' :S

I am trying to set up SVP for 3D.  (on the SVP page) http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Setting_up … pic_Player

it says 'Choose File -> Settings... from the main menu' but where is the menu?
