Derp. I knew it had to be some setting I changed; I just couldn't figure out which.
Thanks a million.

Bug report submitted.
My screen is 1920x1200.
I also tried "Reduce to HD", but it similarly hasn't helped.

Hi,

I'm trying to downscale a 4K video to 1080p using the "Decrease to screen" function, but it isn't affecting the frame size (according to Zoom Player's video information) or reducing the CPU workload.
The summary says 3840x2160 -> 3840x2160.
What am I missing?
Thanks.

I'm using Zoom Player, and when trying to play a 854x480 video on it while running SVP the image is replaced by flashing lights and lines. I tried taking a screen cap, but apparently this issue is only visible while it's happening (no idea how or why). I have no other SVP-compatible players, so I couldn't recreate the issue on another player.

Regardless, if the 4px limit is there for system stability or whatnot, then I'll just keep turning SVP off when watching videos with frame widths not divisible by 4. No big deal.

Thanks anyway. Cheers.

2? The problem is that SVP breaks the playback of any video whose with isn't divisible by 4. They're not very common, and it's no big deal if I have to disable SVP for those particular videos, but I figured I'd ask if there's a more direct solution.

Sorry for resurrecting this old thread, but I have a question. Why is the frame width alignment locked to either 4 or 8?

Works great, thanks big_smile

If that is so, then I hope they just put in the option to select the preferred minimum mod.

Mod 4 should hopefully be good enough. Looking forward to the patch.

Hello? Can we get some dev feedback on this, please?

So you say, but I had no trouble with this when using SVP 3.

I recently stumbled onto an issue in SVP 4, wherein when a video with a nonstandard aspect ratio is loaded, SVP will try to crop it slightly, even if cropping is disabled.

For example, SVP tries to adjust a 1012x720 video to 1008x720.

It wouldn't be that big a deal, except that any time SVP tries to use crop, it breaks the video display.

Is there a way to prevent SVP from doing that?

Hey, it's not mine, either, but that doesn't mean we should screw up the grammar, and you're doing just fine smile

OK, gotcha. Just one more reason to upgrade my PC when I get the money tongue

And props for using "its" in the proper form. I very rarely see people use it correctly wink

OK, I did get it to work by changing the renderer, but it made it look really bad and jaggy, so I'll need to manage without it.

Thanks anyway.

1048, and I don't use MPC-HC, I use Zoom Player.

Can anyone advise me on how I can increase SVP's GPU usage? At the moment it only uses up to about 17% of my GPU, even when my CPU is being maxed out.

Tried changing the crop size, didn't help.

How do I change the renderer?

On profiles that have the option enabled, the image becomes corrupted.
