In order to explain my problem here is a video (minor tokyo ghoul spoiler) http://youtu.be/9YT8o4QPQl8 I am using the recommended anime settings and this only occurs in some videos mostly during panning/action scenes, this one in particular is 720p .mkv.
As you can notice it effects the animations as well just not as drastically as the text.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated, I don't even know what to call this issue, is this what "artifacts" are or? I put artifact masking to strongest and it helped some but is there any other setting to further reduce the effect?

Well I updated my graphics drivers again and it apparently solved the issue... thanks anyways.

Where is crash log? Really would like to actually be able to use the program again. Does the manager need to be on (vague Google search makes me think this is the case) in order for me to go "information > last launch log"? or is it in a folder? If the former I can't access the menu because it just closes or is unresponsive for the short time it is visible in the system tray.

I'm not sure where to find this log.

Had SVP working fine a few days ago and noticed that it was not loading with my videos the last couple days. Each time I try to load it I receive no errors or messages however there is no active SVP going even if there is a visual of the quick launch icon on MPC start up. If I hover over the quick launch icon it instantly disappears, relaunching and hovering over it again produces the same result. Sometimes it will not instantly disappear however clicking it or right clicking it produces nothing and it eventually just disappears when hovering over it. Tried uninstalling, re-installing and restarting with no change.
