Alright, thank you for the answer.
not from our side
So can there be done something about it from a user side? If yes then what? How do you yourself watch 1080p in 60 fps from youtube using SVPtube? Cause if it officially can't run that type of videos then it's almost useless at the moment.
I checked second link.
720p MP4 shows duration 22:04 at statusbar and picture never stops
1080p MP4 show duration 7:50 at statusbar and picture stops at 3:35, audio continue to playThere is the same problem with 1080p stream without HFR.
I don't want to rush you, but is there anything that can be done about it?
Thank you for checking. I'm also trying to understand why this is happening and so far none of the LAV splitter changes have helped the case. I'm thinking there might be two options:
1) something is happening with the buffering or 'cache' size in MPC-HC
or
2) ffdshow and its configuration is messing with the video stream
But I'm just guessing.
These are examples:

By the way, I tried the new SVPtube 1.2.3 version - it has the same problem.
If you can, try to post your own settings with the audio/video splitter and ffdshow, I think it might also be their problem, but I'm not sure.
I'm still having this issue with SVPtube for videos with 1080p quality when it freezes at random times, usually at the second half of a video.
I'm using SVPtube 1.2.2 with the latest version of MPC-HC (nightly) + internal LAV splitter of video/audo/source. All of the SVP filters and settings are set to the standard (mostly default).
And my internet connection is 30 Mb/s. But the freezes continue to happen even if I will 'pause' the video and wait for 5 minutes, so I doubt that my connection can affect it.
this's totally up to a video player, we can do nothing
I've tried searching MPC-HC forums, LAV splitter forums and google for this problem but I haven't found any solution.
Do you have the same problem? Or do you maybe have some new information about it?
If not, can you, please, tell me what configuration are you using to avoid it? (LAV settings, video renderers, ffdshow options etc.)
Btw, the advice for downloading a 1080p video doesn't work, because when downloaded for some reason it has a very shitty audio stream, even if I use svptube-dl.wsf script as a download method (it uses only 256 kbps audio instead of 320 kbps).
I'm also interested in the question of this topic, although this thread is 2 years old. Has there been implemented anything yet?
I mean, can I create a profile specifically for the anime so that SVP can switch to it (automatically or manually)?
I'm new to this project, so maybe I'm missing something obvious here.
P.S.
I thought about creating 2 different copies of SVP program for different types of video (anime, movies, games), but this is not a correct solution, is it?
Thanks a lot for your reply, but I have some more questions:
Yes. To use madVR you need powerfull graphic adapter. To use SVP you need CPU core2duo at least.
I use all these components. I have GTX 660 Ti + Core i5-3570K.
I'm using AMD Radeon HD 7800 and Core i5 3570. Do you know if that graphic adapter is similar to GTX 660 Ti in the 'power level' ?
I recommend you to use 2.5.8 SVP edition. It will work faster and needs less memory. If you don't need 2.6.0.4 for another tasks, of corse.
I respect your opinion, but in the Avisynth's wiki (http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Main_Page) it says that 2.6.0 is actually more stable than 2.5.8 in almost all cases, doesn't that really apply to SVP? Just curious.
XySubFilter;
Why you need it? I can see any subtitles with MPC-HC (internal LAV) + madVR.
You were correct on this one, I actually switched to internal one of MPC-HC for better options.
What are the good options for madVR's scaling algorithms when using with SVP?
If I will create a special profile for the anime (using options from this guide (http://svp-team.com/wiki/Watching_anime), will it be automatically used when watching it? Or should I just change the options of an existing profile to better suit an anime every time I need to switch it from a normal movie?
Also, should the configuration of filters (in case of SVP) look like this in MPC-HC?
One last question, If I will post my settings (in pictures) of those filters, can you check if they are generally correct?
Greetings, I'm a kinda new user of SVP, I've tried to read a lot of guides on how to set it up properly, but I'm still in a bit of confusion and not sure if I did everything correctly.
I'm using:
Windows 7 x64;
LCD 1280x1024 monitor (75hz);
SVP configuration (everything is x32):
SVP 3.1.6;
SVPtube 1.2.2;
madVR 0.87.10;
MPC-HC 1.7.7.128;
avisynth 2.6.0.4;
XySubFilter;
ReClock 1.8.8.4;
Internal LAV Audio/Video/SplitterSource 0.63.0;
ffdshow (rev4532) raw video filter;
I was using these guides:
http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:MPC-HC
http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:User_manual
http://husmensblog.blogspot.ru/2013/10/ … guide.html
http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=516729
Can someone, please, explain what can be added/removed/changed to achieve the proper result?
Is it normal to use ffdshow, internal LAV filters and madvr+reclock with SVP at the same time? If yes, should there be applied some kind of changes in settings of those filters?
Huge thanks for creating such a great tool, I hope I've provided all of the necessary information and thank you in advance for the replies.
