so sharpness issue is fixed thanks to MAG79, now i just need to fix the colours, heres a better example of the colour issue, the potplayer image has a yellowish orange hue to the entire picture.

reporting back after using your setting, WOW, made quite a diff, picture is definitely sharper, i would suggest adding this setting into Maken1's guide as well.

can you please tell me how to do that, im afraid im not very learned in this stuff, and no i have no idea about the sharper in VLC, im using it on default settings.

so i followed Maken's guide to the letter and these are the results im getting:

so the video is really really smooth, but image quality suffers, as you can see the sharpness is much better in VLC, also the colours seem to be better in VLC as well... even though im loving the smoothness offered by 60fps
