Same issue after the recent update using mpv and tensorrt rife. It only crashes when I resume playback after hitting pause.
Nevermind looks like the mpv update was the issue since it also crashes without svp

Will these play dvd disc and Blu-ray’s with motion smoothing without having to rip them? I don’t want to rip movies....I just want to rent them and watch them smoothed
I tried with DVDs and it stuttered every few seconds. Can not say if it is for everyone but in my case it did not work at all.
Would like to have a custom res besides screen and 720p.
There is: "To select another mode, use the "frc.frame.resize" parameter in the Application settings section of the Control Panel."
But I am not sure how to use it since I have to type in a paramter but not desired screen res.
Using svp 4 pro. Thanks in advance.
Would madvr work with it? I assume not

SVP supports GPU acceleration.
I was referring to the actual encoding/decoding, which took the biggest toll. Cpu was at 100% all the time
same. The natural player thing does cpu only and does not support hw encode
Does not use my gpu at all. Have 4 fps with h264 very fast. Unusable
Would be very nice since my x6 1090t is too slow for 4k motion interpolation.
It's unclear from your screenshots what player do you use.
For example MPC-HC 64-bit + Avisynth+ may not work in 4k at all.
In fact the only combination working fluently with my FX-8350 + gtx 750 is 32-bit MPC-HC.
Both mpv and mpc-hc 64-bit give very strange results.
I went to 64 bit mpc hc after i got the strange results in mpc hc 32 bit with 32 bit ffdshow. I disabled madvr to save processing power and used enhanced video renderer aka system standard. The 1090t was at 3.8 ghz. In theory the 1090t is still slower than the 8350, so maybe the cpu is simply bottlenecking too hard. Changing threads does nothing.
Does not help.
With dxva hw encoding enabled mpc hc keeps crashing all the time, very unstable and basically unusable.
With sw decoding enable it only does motion interpolation on the highest quality setting ( with a 99%) cpu usage and super low fps. On lower settings it simply repeats every frame without doing any interpolation on them
I have a h264 source with dxva hw decoding a phenom 2 1090t and a gtx 1060 6gb. I can not use svp even at lowest settings due to very low fps, altho neither cpu nor gpu are fully utilized
I have a 4k h264 source a max oced gtx 1060 and a phenom 2 1090T. Any way to make it work, since my cpu is way too slow. If I set it to faster it just doubles each frame without doing anything on it. If I make it more quality the frame rate is like 7 fps
solved thanks for the answer
already tried it but does not change
When I try to watch said video file ( without drm) ffdshow video does not appear. I have disabled all internal filters and added ffdshow video and ffdshow audio as external filers with prioritization. Other containers work properly. Is ffdshow even compatible with .m4v?
Use newest mpc-hc and newest svp manager version.
