but in the table it says "AMD HD4xxx" ? Do you mean the "svp math" is what determines if it will show in the menu under gpu acceleration?
MAG79: yes. the problem is no new drivers are coming as the radeon hd4000 series is legacy status. I have been mesing around with finding working drivers for windows 8.1 x64 and got them working and was happy to see that SVP was recognizing the card to use with gpu acceleration. Then I updated to the the current release and it was gone from the menu. Maby try the technical preview again.. is there a link to download it anymore?
Thanks.. Though, I am slighlty confused as in the gpu compatibility table in the Wiki it has AMD HD4xxx listed as supported except for the svp math. also "Note 1: It works with HD4000 and above graphics, HD2500 is too slow for FullHD video processing."
Yes i upgraded from the technical preview and in the menu i could select HD4800 and it seemed to be working fine.
Getting "unable to init gpu based renderer (code 0x50000) ...
the error seems to point to script line 39 wich is "vectors=SVAnalyse(super, analyse_params, src=input)"
Can not select manually because my radeon HD 4800 isn't sowing up.
In the technical preview I was able to select it but after updating it is not there.
