Thanks for all the help but i dont really want to keep trying stuff. I already got used to watching stuff without svp so i'm just gonna go without it for a while.

Once you did that, did you try uninstalling SVP and then re-installing?

yeah, ive pretty much tried everything. I'm starting to wonder if it is a hardware issue because i have been getting 'display driver error and recovered' messages.

Well i updated my nvidia driver to latest version (361.91) and now svp wont open. at all. I think this is an issue with openCL as i have looked through posts and it seems to be a common issue. All the solutions were to re-install drivers but i tried doing that and rolling back to old drivers but nothing worked. CLinfo.exe crashes on opening as well. at this point unless someone can solve this issue i'm just gonna give up and go without svp sad .
