something has been changed, you may try to remember _what_

I am pretty sure I didn't do any changes to my system after install SVP, except the changes made by SVP4 installer.

In the beginning I didn't notice any problem, because I didn't put my system to sleep yet.

After I put the system to sleep state for the first time, it stars to crash. And back to normal if I complete reboot the system. So, I don't think it's something I changed after SVP installation.

I wonder is it possible to fix this situation by editing the lines in scripts that reported by SVP log.

Looks like hardware issue. Maybe driver issue. For example GPU can't restore its state after wake up. Try to reinstall MoBo and graphics drivers.

well, i've reinstall my mobo and graphic driver. but the problem remains the same.

SVP4 seems to be the only software to have the issue. since i only use the GPU from the intel cpu, i hardly do games and my system running quite normal actually. and again SVP 3.1.6 runs perfectly, and even use less system resource in my case.

i don't know why SVP4 have this problem. but i do hope it could be fixed. although i could avoid this problem by not put system to sleep or always reboot before using SVP4. it's kind of annoying and make me regret buying SVP4 pro. sad

This's interesting... I believe you're the first one with this issue

When you compare 3.1.6 vs 3.1.7 vs 4 - do you use the same Avisynth version in all cases?

thanks for the reply.
yes, i use the same Avisyth that installed by SVP4. it's 2.6 i guess.

a little update...

i've used SVP 3  before, so i tried to install the the older version. it turns out i need to go back to SVP 3.1.6

any version above(3.1.7, 3.1.7a or 4) will have the similar issue. similar "access violation" message and the video player freeze or crash.

hi,

first of all, i am not a native speaker, so please bear with my english. smile

i bought SVP4 pro couple days ago. it works fine in the beginning, but suddenly start to crash the video player.

after a few tests, i found that if i restore  the system(win7 64bit) form sleep or hibernate. SVP4 stops working anymore.

the video player shows a line on top of the screen:
"AVS - Avisynth: access violation at 0x0003FA9E in C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\plugins\svpflow1.dll"

and crash.

i've tried kmplayer, potplayer and bsplayer. all the same.

the log from SVP4 also shows some red lines like this:

"21:51:32.074 [E]: Playback [4110c]: AVS - (C:\Users\Fang\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\4110c.avs, line 39)
21:51:32.074 [E]: Playback [4110c]: AVS - (C:\Users\Fang\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\4110c.avs, line 57)"

can anyone help me with this strange situation?

ps. i don't know how to get the AVS script that generated by SVP4, so if you guys need to review the script, please tell me how to collect it. thank you.
