I understand what you are saying. I guess it's just that before I even bought and installed the pro version, I played this one movie with svp 4 on, and it then said it was playing at 1920x1080. When I used pro version to play the exact same movie, it said it was playing at 1920x800. This is the thing I don't understand, what changed? Did anything really change? Anyway, I guess you are right. I cannot see any difference in the movie with or without svp 4, and thanks for answering smile

I kinda wrote this down at the moment, did not do much thinking through on how to explain closely what my problem is. I apologize for that. Il try to elaborate more (but I suck at explaining things on paper, bit I will try). Ok, so I not have "crop to screen aspect ration" on, what I do have on in "Video frame" is: "Detect and cut off black bars", "keep aspect ratio" and "keep normal size". As for other settings, they are at default. I have tried playing different files with and without svp 4, and it seems this issue only happens when I try to play movies. Animes work fine, tv-shows too. There are differences when it come to movies I play, as it says on the tray icon for the program: one has 1920x800, another 1920x816, other one has 1920x1072. this is for the movies with 1080p. for those with 720p: 1280x544, 1280x696, and so on. There are small differences like this. But another movie I have, plays at 1080p again, same goes for one at 720p. I have added a picture that might help in explaining what I try to say here. This should be a better explanation than my first one. If not, I am probably stupid:/ With this said, svp 4 is a REALLY good program. 10/10 from me

After using the free version for some time, I decided to get the pro version (mainly to get rid of the black bar backlight thing, and customization). Did get rid of the black bar thing, but for some reason, the pro version only plays movies in 1920x800 resolution. I tried changing settings in frame size, did not work. Tried making a new video profile, and change settings there, no success. The free version played everything at the resolution the files had(be it 720p or 1080p), but pro version won't do that. I also tried uninstalling "Pro" and install the free version again. Now, that one to plays movies at 1920x800. I have searched on the forums here and used google, but did not find anything relevant to this problem. Hopefully someone here know what to do to fix this, or what I have done wrong/haven't done yet. Thanks for all answers in advance, I appreciate them all smile edit: added a picture that might explain what I failed to say in this post.
