as usual - reinstall video drivers manually
This solved the issue. Thanks!
After upgrading to the Windows 10 build 15063.13 SVP stopped to work in all players (MPC-HC, PotPlayer, mpv).
In PotPlayer and MPC-HC I see the following error message:
SVSmoothFPS: unable to init GPU-based renderer [code 0xFF](C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\1b19fe.avs, line 42)(C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\1b19fe.avs, line 3)
The name of the avs file seems to be random and I am currently on the Nvidia driver 381.65.
Are there any already known issues with the Windows 10 Creators Update?
I have the same async issues with mpv and it even gets worse, when I increase the playback speed to 1.2. Then the SVP Index alternates between 1.2 and 1.4.
But going back to the DirectShow/ffdshow based players (MPC-HC, Potplayer) I get a straight 1.00 line as my SVP Index. With higher speeds on these players the index goes up to 1.2 but the graph stays at this value and does not go up and down a little.
My system has a Xeon E3-1231 v3 CPU and a GTX 1070. Is this too slow for SVP?´
edit:
On the left I use Potplayer/ffdshow on normal playback speed and then on 1.2x speed. On the right the same with mpv. The mpv playback gets out of sync in less than a minute.
The video was just a current 720p release from HorribeSubs.
Somehow I can't use hardware decoding with mpv on Windows. Here is mpv's output:

Is there some misconfiguration on my site? The default mpv.conf won't enable hardware decoding either and compared to MPC-HC, mpv's CPU usage is much higher (30% on a 3,4 GHz Haswell Xeon).
Personally I would prefer mpv over MPC-HC because of its working audio pitch correction on higher playback speeds and its minimal UI. But without hardware decoding I get dropped frames on higher playback speeds like for example 1.2x.
