BTW in SVP 2 you could choose between framerate x2/x3. I don't see an option to do that in SVP 4.

If it's VAIO, have you tried disabling UAC? And by disabling UAC I mean cmd command, not a GUI slider. I remember pain in my ass due to that.
User account control is fully disabled. I'm the admin.
I'm the nazi-kind of guy who goes through every process and startup in msconfig.
well I can't really see the message, it disappears right away. Either that or I'm gonna have to be a ninja with the printscreen-button.
I'll try a different location.
edit: different location worked.
[problem solved]: installed in C:\SVP 4\ instead of program files. I have absolutely no idea why it worked.
I see a quick glance of an error message and then it asks if I want to cancel the installation.
Everything BUT svp is installed. MPC, LAV, ReClock etc etc... But the SVP exe doesn't exist in the folder and the start menu item never gets created.
My system:
A Vaio laptop from 2009 with an i5 and a AMD m5650 gpu, running windows 7 service pack 2 (64 bit).
Nothing else is running. no browser, no processes, no old versions of svp. no nothing. I'm 29 years old, been using computers for 25 years now. I'm not dumb.
help please.
oh yeah it's the free version. so no offline installer from what I can see.
