Topic: SVP With live TV Broadcasts

I have done a quick search for this, but couldn't find anything (mainly because TV is too small a search term) but can you use SVP to carry out frame interpolation in live TV broadcasts, for example using MediaPortal? I know you can use SVP with MediaPortal, but specifically what about live TV within MediaPortal?

As long as it allows processing through ffdshow raw filter and provides stable source frame rate - why not?
ProgDVB used to work at least some time ago...
