Topic: Problems with gpu acceleration and GTX 1070ti

Hello, I'm having a problem with the gpu acceleration, whenever it's turned on it becomes impossible to watch any video with SVP, even with the settings at very low. When I disable it I can use it with settings in the medium.

My video card is the GTX 1070ti.
- I have reinstalled drivers
- I've disabled madvr
- I have already reinstalled both MPC and SVP in every way possible.
- The settings in MPC are exactly as in the site guide.

I'm using MPC x64, but I tested with x86 too and the result was the same. I'm using SVP free. My operating system is Windows 10. I looked for some solutions in the forum, but none that I found helped me, so I'm open to suggestions.

(I apologize for possible errors in my English, after all this is the work of google translator.)

GTX 1070ti is powerful enough for SVP.
Try to enable GPU-acceleration and then start performance test: Utilities - Assess system performance

CPU load must be below 10% when idle.

I have tried this a few times but the result remains the same. One thing I realized is that even if the gpu acceleration is disabled in svp, if I use the Hardwer decoder in the MPC like DXVA2 (copy-back) or NVIDIA CUVID the audio fails in some cases after a few minutes, this does not happens in DXVA2 (native), but this only when the SVP is turned on, when off I can use any option without problems.

Looks like you have slow speed between GPU and CPU (RAM). It depends on PCI-e mode. It must be x8 or x16.
Check please.

Hello, sorry for the delay to respond. I checked it and it's exactly like in your image, x16 2.0.

Re: Problems with gpu acceleration and GTX 1070ti

Maybe you have madvr enabled and it asks very much performance from GPU.
Try to select EVR Custom with D3D Fullscreen. MPC-HC menu View - Options... - Output tab

Is it help you?

Unfortunately no, I tried this now and it remains unusable the "High frame rate index" goes crazy 0.3 ~ 2.5, and with many stutterings in the middle of it. One thing I noticed is that when I open a video the processor usage rate is 80 ~ 90%, this with the gpu acceleration on, while the gpu does not reach 30%, after the stutterings begin to use cpu drops to less than 10% but the GPU also almost 0%.
