mpv always quit after opening a video file in ubuntu system

System: Lubuntu 1804

Problem:
After typing mpv videofile in terminal, the video is opened, but it quickly quits itself, leaving the following message:

Argument 'modify_duration_int' has invalid type 'opt'.
Aborted
