Topic: What are the best settings for smoothness vs least artifacts?

I would like to find out the best settings for the most smoothness and less artifacts possible. Currently I have been using Automatic just because of how smooth it is and I can't seem to get that kind of smoothness from custom presets.



Also I have other questions...

How can I make Automatic the default preset so I don't have to select it every time?

Should I always choose the highest bitrate on SVPtube or is the default better?

In other words, create a new profile - copy of Automatic and add 1000 in Expert: add scores
SVTube shows original resolution of video as it is on youtube/else. I choose highest one. As for bitrate, I would choose smaller because it represents quality of compression while video quality is ~same for same resolution.
