Topic: Random frame drops in SVP for Linux latest version only

Hello,

I am a SVP user on Linux from long long time.

with latest update version: 4.5.0.205-1, i am facing RANDOM 1 or 2 playback freeze in 4-5 mins video.

This was never a problem with older version (191).

I am using Arch Linux with MPV.

GPU Acceleration:- Intel UHD620 and NVIDIA MX150 (faced random freeze on both accelarations)

attaching a screenshot (see a dip in SVP Index) and log file.

Thanks (Especially Chainik :-))

Re: Random frame drops in SVP for Linux latest version only

not sure there're any changes in the latest libs that could possibly give a "playback freeze"
most likely it's caused by some external reason
but you always can take previous svpflow build and see if it solves the issue

Yes going back to previous version does solve.
By the way the new svpflow consumes less power and gives better results if freeze is ignored.
Kudos to SVP team!
