MPV (when using SVP) resuming on it's own when PC wakes from sleep

If I have a active SVP window open in mpv, and i put my PC to sleep, the next time I wake it up the video will resume on it's own. It's quite annoying, especially as it makes waking from sleep a bit laggy, especially if it's multiple windows since i've recently been using mpv sockets. How can I stop it? If SVP is closed, the video doesn't resume on its own.
