Topic: Seeking Help with SVP Compatibility Issues on Windows 11

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently upgraded to Windows 11 and am experiencing some issues with SmoothVideo Project (SVP) that I didn’t have on my previous version of Windows. Specifically, SVP seems to be having trouble with video playback, and the frame interpolation isn’t working as smoothly as it used to.

Here are the details of my setup:

SVP Version: 4.5.0
Windows Version: Windows 11 Home, Build 22621
Video Player: MPC-HC 1.9.23
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, Driver Version 537.13
Issues I've encountered:
hill climb racing
Frame Interpolation Lag: The frame interpolation feature seems to stutter during playback, especially with high-resolution videos.
Error Messages: Occasionally, I receive an error message saying “SVP cannot initialize frame interpolation.”
What I’ve tried so far:

Reinstalled SVP and applied the latest updates.
Updated my graphics drivers to the latest version.
Adjusted video playback settings in both SVP and MPC-HC.
Has anyone else faced similar issues with SVP on Windows 11? If so, do you have any suggestions or solutions to resolve this? Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

1. current version is 4.6.0.273
2. there's no such message anywhere in SVP - "SVP cannot initialize frame interpolation." What exactly do you see, when and where?
