Topic: Problem with SVP and smplayer and Dolby Vision

So I am unable to fix SVP working correctly with smplayer.

I have followed the instructions on getting smplayer to work with SVP.

Now what is the current situation.

When I start the movie , smplayer is launched , it shows Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on my Tv when I maximise screen BUT SVP does not detect smplayer running.
I have checked running as seperate window but it does not make a difference in this case.

Now when I start a movie, and run it with mvp, it will get detected with SVP and run at 60fps but it gets detected as HDR10 when I maximise the screen!  so it shows HDR and Dolby Atmos on screen.

Does anyone know if this can be solved; being to able to run a movie in smplayer with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on my Tv AND Svp detecting mvp running so it runs at 60FPS please ?

Delete mpv cache maybe? "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\mpv"
Restart SVP and make sure it runs in background
mpv version from SVP is a bit older, while SMPlayer's is ancient.
try to update them by replacing mpv.exe from "C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\mpv64\mpv.exe" and "C:\Program Files\SMPlayer\mpv\mpv.exe" with the one from latest archive:

Also i see SMplayer overrides this setting general->video->Output driver which might cause issues related to color detection

Thanks for your suggestions @flowreen91! 

Unfortunately this does not change much, gpu-next will only output HDR not Dolby vision for me.  So I will need to keep looking for a solution.
empty the cache and updating the apps also had no change.
