Topic: MPC ignores LAV Video Decoder

In MPC LAV Video Decoder is ignored. I have unchecked all internal filters and LAV Video Decoder is set to “Prefer” in external filters, but somehow it doesn’t seem to be detected by the player. (I also experience this with Zoom Player.) As if by default either ffdshow video decoder or, if that one is deactivated, Cyberlink Video Decoder is used. Any ideas?

I dunno, it works for me.
How did you install LAV filters - with installer or just by unpacking zip archive?

I tried both. After installation of the "install_video.bat" file in the ZIP archive it didn't work either. It's a mystery ...
