hi

I changed my video card to AMD fire pro v4900, and the videos are amazingly perfect with this professional card, I am also using OpenCL GPU acc. with SVP

I used SVP for a while without any issues, but today I got an error...

Only I can get rid of this error if I disable GPU acc.

check if the file svpflow_gpu.dll is there

both files are in their locations

svpflow_gpu.dll and ffdshow.avs

hmmm, that sounds strange

but today I got an error

just to clarify: you're using SVP with this OS and this video card for a while and it used to work well, right?
so all you need is to remember what exactly changed in the system from yesterday smile

the error means it can't load that dll. there're only two possible reasons:
1. dll doesn't exsists OR is blocked with some anitvirus or something
2. some dll's dependencies doesn't exists. you can check this with that tools

last time I updated progdvb and I think it may changed ffdshow files, so I reinstalled SVPfull with ffdshow...

and now, nothing changed, still getting errors, but I think silly progdvb update made something wrong

I chaecked the dependicies os svpflow_gpu
OPENCL.DLL and IESHIMS.DLL
notfound

have you updated any drivers recently?
there shoud be system opencl.dll installed in system32 folder

if "GPU acceleration" menu item is active in SVP Manager then OpenCL is actually working  hmm
try to copy opencl.dll from SVP folder to system32

we found the solution at the same time smile

I remembered I uninstalled nvidia drivers because I removed the nvidia card, then I realized OPENCL.dll has gone with it.

so I reinstalled amd firepro v4900 drivers but, it didnt resolved the issue,

then I checked opencl page of amd and I see they will realise workstation graphics drivers for opencl support at summer 2012, but I see opencl drivers available with catalist 12 drivers

so I installed catalyst drivers too  big_smile

now I have bot catalyst and amd vision engine workstation drivers and svp works great...
