Topic: IvyBridge's HD4000 GPU support

SVP 3.1.4 supports HD2500/HD4000 (*) as gpu accelerator BUT only in compatibility mode which means the resulting video is not so smooth as it should be.
The reason was a bug in Intel's OpenCL implementation which was fixed in the newest 9.18.10.3071 video drivers.

So here is a small update for SVP 3.1.4 (see it in attachment).
Just unpack it in "Program Files\SVP 3.1" folder and restart SVP Manager.


(*) Note: HD2500 is still too slow for any real job. Don't try to use it, we warned you!  big_smile

So I downloaded it and tried to use HD4000. I really believe that video is not so smooth so should I change back those files I rewrote in SVP folder or I can just set acceleration to Nvidia GPU and all become as before without all rewrite backed up files hassle?

My native language is Ukrainian. There is no Ukrainian topic here wink

Anyway if somebody needs it I suggest to create backup of those 3 folders and 3 files before copying modified one. I have no idea if it has to be done but I recovered them while setting acceleration to a Nvidia GPU and now all is good. It was easy work so I didn't do any tests without recovering older files and Nvidia GPU, sorry.

There should be a way for SVP to use the Intel Quick Sync technology. This will provide improved results that should be same or even better than dxva on nvidia or ati GPU

Yes. HW deinterlacing in decoder is good news.
