Topic: SVP appears to be missing some scripts (ffdshow.avs)

I believe this is the relevant error.

18:59:14.931; Error: Error preparing smooth playback! Script error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP\SVPMgr.wsf(0, 1) Windows Script Host:  : JScript

. Duration: 91 ms
18:59:15.022; Error: Error preparing smooth playback! Script error:
Import: couldn't open "C:\Users\rowan\AppData\Roaming\SVP 3.1\AVS\ffdshow.avs"
(ffdshow_filter_avisynth_script, line 4)

It has worked fine for me in the past, and I just re-installed the full version along with all the 3rd party requirements.  The directory it is looking in for ffdshow.avs is completely empty.  Any help would be appreciated!

Just tried re-installing with the "for all users" option and got another empty AVS directory out of it sad

Just to see what would happen I copied a ffdshow.avs from another pc with a working install, but still same error.

Error: Error preparing smooth playback! Script error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP\SVPMgr.wsf(0, 1) Windows Script Host:  : JScript

You need to reregister x86 jscript with admin rights. For this you need:
1. Go to Start button - Programs - Accesories - right click to Command prompt - choose run as administrator
2. Copy this string to clipboard

regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\jscript.dll

3. Right click on Command prompt window - choose paste - press Enter

Thank you so much for the quick response!  That fix worked perfectly.  Also thanks for all your hard work on SVP, I use it every day watching everything in BEAUTIFUL 120fps on my 3dvision displays.  Even youtube, Starcraft matches never looked so good!

And one more cool SVP story, without even meaning to I used it as an Oculus Rift mod.  Running the VR_Cinema3D program to create a VR movie theater, I saw the SVP message pop up in giant huge letters!  I may be the only guy on the planet who has experienced MST3k at 60fps on a simulated 100 foot screen smile
