Topic: Upscaling to 1080p or beyond

I use SVP, and love it!  Really does a great job making your videos look better.  I had another idea for upscaling software that could upscale lower quality, dvd, 720p up to 1080p or beyond if you have the screen for it.  I have seen other people on the net wondering this very thing, maybe SVP already does this in some way, I don't know.  I think it's a great idea, but unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge of how to do this myself.

So, I figured I would put it out there for the geniuses who wrote SVP, in hopes of maybe they could figure out how to recreate this technology for the computer.  Thanks again for SVP and keep up the great work!

Re: Upscaling to 1080p or beyond

in Hidden settings set AllowUpsize=1
restart SVP
In profile settings choose decrease frame size to screen size or else

Re: Upscaling to 1080p or beyond

1. set "Interface type" to "Expert"
2. choose "Information" - "Hidden settings"
3. find the line "AllowUpsize=0" and change it to "AllowUpsize=1", save the file
4. set "Decrease frame size" to "To screen size"
5. adjust other parameters as it'll consume a lot of CPU power now

Just use madVR renderer. It has better upscale quality.
