Topic: Is this GPU usage normal? [Image attached]
Firstly, many thanks people for SVP. Watching movies is now such a joy... so smooth.
I have two minor problems I'd like to fix if possible.
1. Every now and then I experience a glitch in the video and it seems to coincide with the dips in GPU usage in the following image.
It doesn't happen every time a dip occurs just occasionally. Should it be continuous GPU usage?
2. Every now and then I notice some ghosting/artefact around a moving image against a still background. i.e.
The Hobbit. between 00.09.50 and 00:09:57, where Frodo picks up the mail and then walks back up the stairs it ghosts/artefacts down his right side.
Is there any way to totally eradicate this?
My details:
3930k @ 4.9Ghz
Nvidia GTX670 stock speed. 327.23 drivers
Output to 60" Plasma TV (or 27" monitor)
I uninstalled all codec packs
Installed Full SVP, reset Video Profiles to defaults and 5G used.
Using MadVR, with ReClock synced
(I had to play around with ReClock but it now allows me to bitstream the PCM audio so that my Yamaha AV receiver will decode the DTS/AC-3, not FFDShow. It's a bit buggy but works fine if I don't start/stop too often)
