I wasn't using ffdshow on this, was just to test the problem you quoted.
I usually use a modified version of Maken's guide that i've been using for years. (I also tried following the complete guide without making any changes and didn't help at all) Only now it gave any problems, maybe i should install a non-N version of windows?
