When i set it to 6px. Small 2, the GPU acceleration has no effect.

You're wrong, it's still working but benefits gained from GPU are too small comparing to CPU consumption made by "6px, small 2"

thanks, i have a hd 5770 now but i am considering to switch to a gtx 760. will the benefits be seen after the switch?

6px2 is parametr for motion vectors serach and it works on CPU
so for SVP no matter beetween 5770/760
