Topic: 3:2 pulldown (aka telecine)

Hi guys...

One question : Instead of duplicating framerate, is it possible SVP do a better pulldown for 24->30 fps conversion ?

Normal pulldown only REPEAT 1 frame each 4. Maybe SVP could CREATE a new interpolled frame each 4 instead of duplicate them.

assuming you have 60 HZ screen you can try to set "target frame rate" to "to screen refresh rate / 2" and "frames interpolation mode" to "1m"

SVP can not do that. And any interpolation software can not do that. Cause the four source frames has false times and they need to reclock (decimate) before use interpolation software.
